| ![]() I did a veggie soup the other night and turned out really good. I used a can of beef broth, but use whatever you want. I put in all veggies I had on hand. I sauteed garlic, onion, and celery first in 1 tbs of oil with some salt and pepper, then added in carrot, broccoli, corn chopped off the cob and broth. After it came to a boil, I stirred in 2 beaten eggs so make it like an egg drop soup. But don't put in corn starch like in chinese soups! It was actually really tasty and filling! Bf even went back for seconds and he's usually really bratty about never eating stuff unless it has real meat in it.

That is great! Keep going. I'll let you guys know where I am at on Monday. You know, at my other house, if I weighed myself in the bathroom it would say one thing. If I took the scale into the kitchen it said I was lighter. So I left the damn thing in the kitchen. lol But maybe it is time to invest in a new scale. Could it have been the flooring somehow? Both were linoleum flooring. No carpet or anything like that.

| ![]() Today when I went to the gym, the last few minutes on the treadmill I ran with an incline at 1. May not seem like much, but I could tell I was working harder. I'll be doing that more often. |

| ![]() I'm so curious about all these cauliflower recipes. I tried the pizza twice. Didn't work well bc the oven only goes on broil, no bake. I'll try it again once we move into our new place. Meanwhile I found this. Looks good! I'd omit the bacon though! ![]() JCHONG STUDIO: Cauliflower Fried Rice

| ![]() way to go Carmen, That soup sounds yummy, when it comes to using the incline you are smart to take it up just to one and for a short time, a sudden change to a higher incline can easily lead to shin splints and back problems, I used to work out like insane, but I wound up with lots of injuries so unfortunately I am speaking from experience, but it is a great idea to keep kicking it up a half a notch at a time. I will go to the dinner and will have to eat something like a boneless chicken breast and a salad, the Oz diet is pretty restrictive and even corn is not allowed. I am going to the NY pet fashion events in a month and then skiing the first week in March I am really worried on what I will wear. Do you know I have about 75 pairs of black pants and only about 4 pair fit, it's ridiculous that I let this happen. I have so many nice outfits that are 2 sizes to small. Also my husband is constantly giving me crap about how much weight I let myself gain, he is right but it kills me to hear him say it,

| ![]() yep at least, all in black, let alone the rest I have in other colors, I kept buying more as I gained weight, then when I lost weight I bought smaller, then even smaller pairs that were on sale thinking I might loose more weight, then I gained all the weight I lost and then some........ None of the pants are that expensive and it has been over the course of at least five years, and LOL buying a new pair is easier then going through the group to figure out what fits. They are all hanging in my office closet and part of my husbands closet with all the other stuff that does not fit, all of it is in good shape and I have the room so I just hang on to the stuff still hoping......... LOL maybe I will take a picture tomorrow ![]() I probably have 50 pairs of capri's in a variety of colors and more than half of those don't fit, such a shame really. The sizes go from a very few "run big" size 6's to 14's

| ![]() I have been working with a personal trainer since Feb last year. In August we started 3 days a week with the new one. I walked 2 miles on lunch ever day this spring, summer and fall. I don't eat fast food, fried food, red meat, baked goods, chips, pasta, rice, nor do I drink soda. Of course I'm talking 95% of the time bc who does not eat one of those things occasionally? I have not lost 1lb. Not 1!!!! Talk about frustrating as anything! I am strong, lots of muscle! Hit a pesonal dead lift record tonight, 135lbs, so far! My trainer was so proud and tells me all the time how strong I am...yet still way too heavy and way too much body fat! I'm soooo discouraged! I go bc I dropped a whole clothing size to a 10 and my goal is to be an 8 again. **sigh** aging sucks! Lol

| ![]() I am down .75 pounds from yesterday morning, which surprised me since I was 4 lbs lighter than the day before, I was afraid that loss was just water and would partly come back so getting on the scale today made me happy. I get on the scale every morning. Going into day three of Dr OZ Priscilla do you like making mashed cauliflower, I love it and found it's easy to make with the frozen bags.

Me and you are trying to lose the same. I weighed 150 last time I weighed my self. I want to get to 130. 125 would be a bonus... but I will worry about that once I get to 130. ![]() I have a lot to do today. A lot of running around. I'm in the process of transferring from one college to the another. No work today. whoo hoo! I think I will hit the gym before I start my day too.
