I'm not sure if this applies to you but some types of birth control can have an affect on your inability to lose weight. i had an iud for a little over 3 years and was never able to get close to my pre pregnancy size. After having other issues with the iud I had my doctor remove it and dropped 10 lbs the first week of removal. Some ppl lose weight, some nothing happens, some gain but it's worth looking into
