If I am craving salt, cottage cheese really hits the spot for me. Are you open to trying those roasted seaweed snacks I mentioned earlier? It's like kale chips. I love them. Only about 30 cals for a pack.

Oh have you guys tried raw nuts? Roasted/salted/etc nuts actually are not good for you. When they say snack on a handful of nuts, it should be raw nuts, no added salt, unroasted. My fave are pistachios. Sprouts sells them raw and unshelled/unsalted. For those used to roasted nuts, you will notice they don't have that crunch, but I like the raw ones better bc they aren't as dry. MIL thought they went bad. Didn't know they were raw.

I can't believe Cottage cheese gives you a salt fix, wish I liked it better, the oz plan calls for a handful of nuts, LOL do they know how big my hand can be I have been eating the unsalted raw almonds I would prefer pistachios with salt but don't bring those in the house.

Well I don't get the no salt added kind that's for sure! I get the Knudsen one in the pink tub. If you have a Vons near you, I loved their cottage cheese w chives in it. Haven't shopped in Vons in years though, but I'm sure they still have them. But too bad for the dogs, they can't have the cottage cheese with chives in it.

If you have an Asian market near you, they are cheaper there and more varieties. The regular market will have them in the Asian aisle, but pretty much only the Annie Chung brand and usually they are $1.99/pk or $.99/pk on sale. At the Asian market, more specifically if you have a Korean market, they will be like 9/pk for $3.99. Look for the ones with sunflower, sesame or canola oil. Avoid msg and palm oil.

I have also seen a Korean brand at Costco in a big blue box, but that brand so far has not been my favorite. A tad too oily and not enough salt.

The class was nothing more than dumbbell exercises and a bunch of jumping and squats. I don't think I over did anything. My body needed to be re-broken back in. I will go next wed to the bootcamp and probably be sore the next day again too. I kind of like the soreness though. Lets me know It's working.

Yes! When my daughter does her Richard Simmons, and is at the point in the program where she lies on the floor on her back, Bailey brings a toy and strategically places it on her face. Makes us both lol while Bailey just looks at us as if to say, "What?". They are very smart dogs most of the time, but sometimes he makes us wonder? haha Perhaps he's just saying that she could get more out of her exercises if she uses her arms too, and we are just not getting it. haha

True that. It shows you the muscles you never knew you had I just hope that you won't strain anything too badly that's all.

I don't think I am. This isn't the first time I went on a fitness binge. I got to my goal successfully for a long time last time, so I kind of know what I am doing. But thanks for pointing out to be careful. I know it is possible to injure yourself if you are not careful. Always good to be aware of.

Today I am off! so I am just getting around to a breakfast of a piece of gf toast with avocado slices + a banana. Apparently Rosie hates bananas....I tried to give her a little piece and she made the funniest face and spit it out! weird doggy. now I'm going to do some toning exercises off youtube.

I picked up some cottage cheese for lunch...Breakstone's LiveActive with prebiotic fiber. 80 cal and tastes great with some blueberries thrown in.
