Oh have you guys tried raw nuts? Roasted/salted/etc nuts actually are not good for you. When they say snack on a handful of nuts, it should be raw nuts, no added salt, unroasted. My fave are pistachios. Sprouts sells them raw and unshelled/unsalted. For those used to roasted nuts, you will notice they don't have that crunch, but I like the raw ones better bc they aren't as dry. MIL thought they went bad.  Didn't know they were raw. |
I can't believe Cottage cheese gives you a salt fix, wish I liked it better, the oz plan calls for a handful of nuts, LOL do they know how big my hand can be

I have been eating the unsalted raw almonds I would prefer pistachios with salt but don't bring those in the house.
