| ![]() Well I have a nice juicer, but thinking it's time to invest in a blender. The one I had broke a long time ago. I can't afford a vitamix blender (or whatever they are called). But I can get a nice one in a cheaper price range. Any suggestions? |

When anyone has a lot of weight to loose and they go on a very reduced calorie diet like this one, the initial weight comes off sort of quick, like in the first two weeks, some of it is water weight but not all. I am sure once my body gets use to this way of eating the pounds will not come off as quick. But you always loose the most of amount of pounds at the beginning. I would hope to see such rapid results but I really am not counting on it

My body is the opposite. I have to struggle to get the ball rolling then the pounds fall off. I remember it was the exact same thing that happened the last time I got into shape. I can't believe I let it go and have to start all over. Uggg. lesson learned I guess. It's easier to keep it off than it is to start all over. lol

| ![]() I am cooking and just took a break, making cabbage vegetable soup (a calorie burning soup) and a stir fry of onions, mushrooms, yellow and green squash, and brocoli slaw. My husband just came in and is bitching about how bad the house smells and why did I not cook this when he was not home. I said get used to it, this is what healthy smells like, and BTW you sure had plenty to say about my weight so give me a friggin break

| ![]() Oh boy, I have to make up my mind to do this once and for all...on a day to day basis, I eat pretty healthy foods. But when I don't, I really don't. Went out with the girls tonight...ate way too many appetizers...all fried. Not going to lose any weight doing this. I always start my day off right, but some how blow it by the end of the day. I don't thing I've got my heart and mind set on it. Maybe tomorrow!!!

With ya there!! I just look at food and I gain weight. K, not really, but the weight just packs on when I step out of bounds. My xbf didn't gain any weight, no matter what he ate! Made me mad ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Ok so I need some advise on a good blender. I want to get into blending drinks again because it helped me with my weight loss journey before, but I cannot afford a vitamix or anything that pricey. I went out and bought a Ninja last night. The $100 one. But when I got home and looked at the reviews, it says it's not good at blending vegetables and things like that. I did do a little test with some apples and ice and wasn't too excited with the consistency of what came back. It wasn't smoothie like. I don't want to waste my time with a blender that wont blend everything I need. So I am thinking of returning it. I think a blender with a blade at the bottom makes more sense because it pulls everything down to be blended. I know you get what you pay for, but there has got to be a good blender in the $100 price range. What are you guys using to make smoothies that you are happy with. ?????? |

| ![]() This is the blender I bought last night that I will probably return today (except I got mine at Best Buy). I am doing my research before I go out again so I come home with something I like this time though. Ninja® NJ600 Professional Blender - BedBathandBeyond.com |

When you are really ready you will just know it, people like me that really need to lose weight can't go at just half in, because if we could we would not be overweight in the first place. For some reason when I saw the Oz show it must have been my time, because now this diet has become like a game and since I am winning by loosing I want to keep playing. I also feel to keep winning I have to play by the rules of the game which is the strict eating plan, no room for cheating. That mindset gave me the strength to go to dinner with friends and not cheat. A half dieter which I have been for so long would give themselves a pass until tomorrow. I have no idea who here other than me really needs to lose weight and I know we are all at different levels but you have to be in it, to win it, one toe in will not do the trick LOL rereading my post to check for errors has me thinking I sound like a pompous diet coach ![]() ![]() ![]()
