You know, I am thinking my problem with dieting has been I haven't been eating enough when I am trying to lose weight! So I am trying a new route with different eating habits and I am going to have a journal to write down what I am eating and make sure I eat enough calories everyday.

Chachi, I have a really awesome pilates video on my computer. It's saved as a video file. It has three different sections.. Butt, gutt and arms. I can email it to you if you want. It's a great video. It will surely tone you up if you use it. And the video is sectioned to ten minute intervals for each focus then a all around video at the end. Let me know. I'll message you.

| I know Yahoo isn't the best source of info, but this article puts into perspective of the difference between eating out and cooking at home. https://shine.yahoo.com/healthy-livi...135900942.html I have been eating very little meat and carbs lately, and it's much easier to make meals that fit into this criteria if eating at home. In fact, I feel now if the piece of meat is too big I get a bit grossed out. I've been making my own hummus too. So easy and cheap and less fat than the store bought kind. I keep some ready in the fridge and eat it with raw carrot sticks or broccoli. And have you guys heard of bean thread noodles? They are made from mung beans so not a lot of carbs. They taste best as the base of a cold noodle salad. I've tried it in hot soups and it doesn't really do it for me. There's also noodles made from yam that come in different shapes, but a lot of non asians don't like it. It has a bit of a smell to them (I don't notice it actually but many do). My fave thing to make right now is a salad with cucumber, fresh corn, onion, tomato, Greek yogurt and either dill or tarragon, and a bit of lemon and salt. I hardly bother with lettuce for salads anymore. I think they make the salad look bigger than it is and that's why you get hungry again so quickly. For dinner I've been roasting veggies in the oven; zucchini, broccoli, garlic, onions, carrots, with some oil or butter and salt. And I serve it with some pasta sauce, and I hardly miss the pasta! You can even make your own pasta sauce. The canned stuff has added sugar.

| My fiance brings this home from the candy store. I could really hurt him right now. I mean who could resist munching on a bag of candy rocks just laying around! I'm tempted to flush them down the toilet. LOL |

| Planet Fitness's 30 minute circuit room is awesome! The cardio step box things are the hardest part for me, oddly enough....I try to mix in squats, kicks, hops, etc. to change the muscles I'm working but I get so exhausted I feel like I'm going to trip and fall. lol. And I've realized my upper body strength is literally laughable. I danced my whole life, and I can run on a treadmill, but sheesh..my *upper* body is pathetic! And I'm really stressing about my arms!!! My arms are so flabby and huge, but I don't know what to do to improve them I need to just get lipo...

Just get a can of garbanzo beans at the market. It's like 60 cents. You can get low sodium, but you'll end up putting in salt anyway, so either way. Open the can and strain out the liquid but keep the liquid! Put the beans in the blender and add juice of one lemon, a bit of olive oil (optional), generoud pinch of salt, finely chopped garlic, and any other spices you want. I usually use a salt that has tarragon in it (my fave herb). Pulse the beans and add in a bit of the liquid bit by bit. You'll only use about 1/2 a cup (guessing, I do it all by eye). But let the blender do it's work for a few secs before you decide to add more liquid. You don't want it too runny, but creamy. That's it! Probably cost under a dollar and at the store a tub of Sabra is like $4.

My weakest part is my core. Which is the part that's suppose to support the rest of the body! This ends up with me throwing out my back a lot.

| I got me a mentor. lol This guy from high school. He's a mentor and a trainer and he's going to help me for almost free. He's lost over 100 lbs in a year and has made a career out of fitness. I start sometime this week. He's going to guide me on what to eat and how much to workout. He is confident he can get me to where I want to be. |
