| ^^^^ good luck! I just got back from the gym. Kinda disappointed, I spent 60 minutes on the treadmill but honestly was so sore from yesterday that I kept my pace at 3.5 (very brisk walk) most of that time. I did crank it up to 5 and ran for a little but wanted to take it easy. I only burned ~300 calories. So...not my best, but any workout is better than no workout! Today is payday and I want to treat myself to a good pair of running shoes. Looking at asics. What do yall wear?

300 calories is still good. I wear my reebok. I love them. They have a lot of good running shoes out there. I love shoe shopping. Have fun.

Athletes, which you are becoming will normally rest the muscles they worked hard the following day, often like you they feel the need to workout out so they will work an opposing muscle, so as an alternative to running two days in a row, try riding the bike which will work more of the top of the front of your legs and not be hard on your feet, calves and shins or the elliptical which will work your butt as well as your legs but not give you the pounding like running does. If you don't mix up your muscle use it could lead to injuries that will take longer to recuperate from than a day of rest. One of the reasons I am out of shape and over weight now was because I worked out to hard and hurt myself, so my overdoing it backfired on me. 20 20 is hindsight, but I believe if I not done kick boxing 5 days straight or doubled up on yoga classes I still might be able to do them.

| Boot camp was good. I will probably go again next week. I agree with DBlain. It is good to give your body a rest once in a while. When my muscles are sore, I usually will take a day off then go back at it again. Or like she is saying, alternate muscles. |

| I thought the same thing. Especially since potatoes are full of carbs. lol But at my exercise class today the reflection of my gut in the mirror was bothering me, hence the web search for foods to get rid of belly fat. lol |

| I have heard of a difference between cold potatoes and hot ones. However cold potato salads are usually full of mayo. Never thought of using vinegar! I put some small gold potatoes in my veggie soup last night too. Oops.

And I never knew that about pears either. That's the one fruit I never buy. I will start now though.

| Another clean dinner to check off of my calendar. The toughest part is I do so good, make a yummy healthy dinner and eat it slowly. then tony comes home from work and eats bacon mashed potatoes and burgers, etc...and I want to eat all over again. But I try to not be in the room while he eats. The number on the scale keeps going down but I dont physically see a difference in my body yet. I want it so bad. I have always had a huge block in my mind where I'm unable to picture me, thin. Like I must be incapable of being small..because I'm so big right now! I cant remember what I looked like at my best, which was probably 11th grade when I was still on a dance team, taking jazz, and in show choir. Even then I was probably 150. I'd kill to get back to that. Anyways...doing some toning stuff with weights tonight and then calling it a night..my bed is calling to.me big time.
