| For some reason that is not one of the 85 recipes included. Anything else?

| Ok so I've been reading the book, and many of the testimonies state they lost weight using CO but they don't really say HOW they use it. Other than taking it by the spoonful (ugh no) or taking out all fat and subbing in CO when you cook (not possible if you don't have a proper kitchen), what do you do? So far I've just found subbing butter on your toast for CO, mixing it in your baked potato, etc. but then I read one person just put it on everything, even on their pizza! How do you think the CO added to a regular [unhealthy] diet would go? added weight? CO cancels out polyunsaturated fat? On another note, CO promised increased energy. Usually during the afternoon Uni is sleeping being super duper bored. (I know bc we are busy working and she is "sleeping" with her eyes open.) The last two days she has been playing with her long neglected and forgotten toys. I give her 1/4 tsp of CO per day. Perhaps it's helping with her energy levels? Not like she wasn't lethargic or anything before, but just laying around bc she was just, well, bored. I think anyway.

We hadn't eaten anything all day and we were both starving...they were sooooooooooo good at the time.... but shortly thereafter we were both sickly disgusted. LOL!!!! We still get queasy when we think about it....and could not eat anything with macadamia nuts in it, for a long time. I probably could, now but I still don't think he can. | |

| So I put a tbsp of CO on my white rice today with my chinese food. It was a nice addition to cut the overly salty chinese food. Also it was leftover chinese, so the rice was hard, well it helped a TON in rehydrating and softening the rice. I usually put some warm water on the white rice and nuke it for more than usual and the rice comes out soft again, but with the CO it had a nice pleasant aroma contrasting the salt and most likely msg in there. Not bad!

| My boys get CO served on a spoon in the mornings. Also a couple of hours before I bathe them I will rub them down really good. They do look like grease balls, but it helps work out knots, conditions their coats and skin, not to mention the full body massage they get. They love their coconut oil, and I use it for everything! Just an FYI, I am allergic to the first aid ointment that starts with an N, I use CO instead. |

One of my concerns would be possibly triggering pancreatitis, due to the oil being of animal origin. I read alot on the site but could not find if Emu oil is a medium or long chain Fatty Acid... I'll assume long chain (LCFA) and are most oils. Coconut Oil is a MCFA and is metabolized differently, and actually helps the pancreas and keeps insulin levels more stable. Plus I like the fact that CO comes from a plant, and I purchase it from a 'Green" grower. Waiting for the day I can go completely vegetarian...
