I tasted the Nutiva, tonight. Yum! It does have a slight coconut taste.... and I put some in a frying pan instead of olive oil and scrambled up a couple of eggs. I could taste just a tiny hint of coconut! YUM!!!!

I love popcorn popped the old fashioned way. I am going to try popping some in the Nutiva tonight

I've been following this thread and am interested in trying this out. KJC was telling me how good the coconut oil is, also. Let me know what you think when you have a chance to try it - Nutiva is what I'll probably order.

I have actually been using in place of Olive Oil.

I've been reading the book they sent me, and apparently if you sub in CO for all other oils when you cook, you can lose weight. This is kind of hard for me to do though, since I don't have a decent kitchen to cook in anymore.

I did and it was good. Not as coconutty as I had hope, just a hint of coconut, but still good.
