I bet that is your problem with the coconut oil. One of the girls I work with has a Yorkie with long straight hair and he gets oily looking about 2-3 days after his bath. I am sure he wouldn't need any extra oil added to his hair.

In fact, she is not as shiny using CO. I'm sticking with the IOD products.

Contrary to what Kristin has warned us about, the CO was particularly delish on Hawaiian bread last night.

However, I did over oil Uni on her weekly bath. She looks oily, BUT I will see if it has any effect on her scratching this week. I took a fork and barely scraped the surface, and put it in a 16 oz bottle, and mixed that with hot water. I used that as her final rinse, no water after that, and she is a bit greasy, but smells greats and feels soft. I also give her 1/4 tsp daily (for the last 4 days). Let's see if there is any change.

mmmmmm.....Hawaiin bread! Sounds good! Boop also not only looks a little oily and her hair is separating and looks stringy, it is dull, too. I hope it works on Uni's itching. Let me know. Boop also itches from allergies.

LOL, so my experience getting sick on Hawaiian bread inspired you to go and get some?! You really are strange when it comes to food.

Uni has such silky hair, that is probably why she seems oily. I can't put anything in Max's hair or he ends up looking like a greasy mess.
