| Tea cart P1080747.JPG With one of the flaps up. The glass tray lifts off and the handle folds down. P1080746.JPG Didn't get a before pic, but this was the ugliest brown frame with brown velvet trim. I repainted and distressed it, and found another frame (trashed that one) with the owl pic and the glass from that one fit perfectly. The owls are reflective foil like material. The frame was $2 and the owls were $3. P1080749.jpg This is so weird I had to get it. I wonder about the dog and the owner and why he had the tie framed. I like the frame and I will paint it, but the tie, what should I do? I don't want to throw it away. Unfortunately the glass is not glass, it's plastic. This was $3. P1080753.jpg

| Frak! LOL I forgot about the dresser and mirror. We are heading out now for a few yards sales. Wish us luck. I'll post those later.

On the tie...what if you try to sell it on ebay...then, it may find a good / appreciative home or something?

| That little sign is so funny Ann! So I've been lazy the last few days, and had a few events I got to attend thru Yelp. Last night had a paired four course meal hosted by Rick Moonen that took like 3 1/2 hours, and the night before the Cirque show Ka. So I got my pics a while ago but finally got around to uploading. This is the dresser we got for $200. I believe this is made in the US. It's super heavy. This was from the lady (byb) that was selling akita pups for $500. P1080771.jpg This we got from another guy for $40. Ignore the mess in the reflection. P1080773.jpg Also we happened across an Aaron Bros last week that was closing down. We went on their second day of everything 90% off so we got $1000 worth of frames for $100.

| No ties or quilting for me. I doubt anyone would really bid on the tie on ebay and I wouldn't bother with listing it on CL. It's hard enough to sell normal stuff on CL without having to deal with bots and scammers.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | We installed our Sputnik chandelier in our dining room this weekend, woo hoo!!! I also bought a starburst mirror, took out the mirror, and turned it into a ceiling medallion for the Sputnik - and I think the medallion totally completes the look and is a nice finish/accent.

| Wow, great idea about the mirror as a ceiling medallion! I wonder if there is a way to cover the gap between the mount of the light and the medallion? We put up this carving thing on the wall with screws similar you how to put up the medallion and I was thinking of markering or painting the screw heads to kind of blend them in. Wondering if yours are noticeable? I only saw it bc you included that close up. We will be putting in new wall scones soon. I'm repainting them right now. They finally went on sale at Lowe's so we picked up three. This is the before. http://www.lowes.com/pd_234987-41800-26966-014_0+1z0y09b__?productId=50188141&Ntt=interior+wa ll+sconces&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNtt%3Dinterior%2Bwall%2Bsc onces%26page%3D1&facetInfo=Candle Hmmm that's interesting, it's not on sale online. Also we went to another location and it wasn't on sale there. BTW your house looks like a freaking model home!

| I finished painting the scones a few days ago and bf installed them yesterday. I'm pretty happy with how they came out. I really wanted the flicker lightbulbs but they were overpriced IMO so we got the mini flame ones. Before, white factory paint job. 773546248327.jpg After, three color faux patina, plus I added candle drippings with a glue gun. (Shhh! don't tell anyone I own a glue gun! LOL) P1080813.JPG P1080816.jpg P1080818.JPG We will eventually paint the walls but don't know what color yet.
