| ![]() Dotted paper is the paper you use for patternmaking. It looks like white butcher paper but thinner and had numbers and letters in squares 1" apart kind of like graph paper. When I was in school, we had a store that sold fabric and other sewing stuff for really cheap. I was able to buy a whole roll of dotted paper for $10. Normally it would be several hundred dollars. That roll I hung up is still the same roll!

| ![]() Here are finally pics of my work room. Still a work in progress. The top shelf is the brackets I got off Ebay the other week. The wooden slats were leftover wood that I stained. Under that is my dotted paper. P1080682.jpg Here is a close up of the pipe I used to hang it on the wall. I used the Rub N Buff to get that color. P1080684.JPG I just finished this mini map of London for a friend who will be visiting me next week. Am also thinking of listing these on Etsy. What do you guys think I should price this at? | ![]() Here is a closer look of my ironing table. Don't mind the thing underneath. It's a brand new cooktop that we can't sell for a decent price and have no place to put it. ![]() P1080702.JPG P1080703.jpg

I asked her this morning during our weekly call and she told me she uses a the Food Grinder pack that was purchased directly from Kitchen Aid, the reason she uses the one for Kitchen Aid is because it has an attachment for stuffing sausage. She also said to tell you that if you have an curious imagination in the kitchen you can use this attachment for a lot things like homemade chutney, relish and salsa (just an example). I explained to her that from what I see on your post you do not seem to be avoid new things and probably would appreciate the suggestions. She did warn that if you live in area that colder you might want to make sure your attachments stay in a control climate, they are plastic but she wanted to me to let you know the blades are metal and can be removed and washed (I never thought of that). Now here is the really exciting part, she told me next time I visit she is going to make some Chicken, Spinach and Feta Cheese sausage. This excites me, it sounds good now she just needs to figure out the recipe. I wish I was more of into experimenting in the kitchen, I am not at all I can cook but I need to follow a recipe.

| ![]() Priscilla, your work room looks so wonderful! Love your ironing table and the paper holder! I will get you a picture of my work bench...I have so much just sitting on it lately...will have to clean it up a bit. It is in the basement which if I ever move would like it in an oversized garage.

| ![]() Priscilla, I too love your work room -- the pipes and brackets are awesome. Beautiful work on the map. You are so talented. I don't have any idea on price. Max and Teddy are still saving to commission you to make little top hats for them. ![]()

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() Well, I did end up staining/painting my new painting desk. It was a bit of a cluster, lol. I first started out trying to stain the desktop board -- um...yeahhhhh....no one informed me you couldn't stain MDF board, hello!!? Looked horrendously heinous! SO, I ended up spray painting the board satin black (bc that's what I had on hand) and then sprayed over it w/ a Matte Finish spray in clear. Then I put chalk on it and erased it off - and it ended up looking kinda like slate or something...I like it!! Then I stained the legs as planned, and they turned out as planned, luckily. ![]()

| ![]() Ann, that turned out great! I really do like the stained base better and your technique for the top looks fantastic! Was it purely accidental or did you have the chalk technique in mind when you started? I'm really loving the contrast. Makes me want to rethink my Ikea hacked work room completely. ![]()

| ![]() Looks great! I'm thinking maybe some half round trimming on the edges? What color stain did you use? That color is perfect!
