Didn't get a before pic, but this was the ugliest brown frame with brown velvet trim. I repainted and distressed it, and found another frame (trashed that one) with the owl pic and the glass from that one fit perfectly. The owls are reflective foil like material. The frame was $2 and the owls were $3. Attachment 404411

Awesome finds. You really are on a roll! About the tie, you could put it on CL or ebay if you don't want to keep it. I am seeing lots of quilts made from ties show up on Pinterest. They are pretty cool (if you're in to ties
