I do mine all the time... its very important to keep your fridge running efficiently. Have you ever noticed that your fridge is not a cold as it should be? Well it because the coils are glugged. They sell the wands at the store for cleaning between but if you can use a shop vac to suck out any loose debris and chunky stuff that might be in there.

I love the quote on the page, "She who seeks beauty shall find it." So true, and beauty can be found in the simplest things, but it helps to have a really great camera and know how to use it!

This pin of yours IKEA Hack: Faux Antique Finish Pharmacy Lamps in your DIY board got me thinking about my nasty chrome *shudder* door knobs. I tried it, but I used sealer in between the colors and it totally worked! But I have to make sure to get every tiny inch of it covered in sealer, otherwise when you go with the sandpaper, it will take off the base color. I will post a pic once it's all done and back on my door.

I love building stuff and working with my hands, so I will you keep posted; as soon as I find some drawers that are cheap enough and the right size!

Omg, no way!! That is SO FLIPPIN' COOL, I love it! You are right, it's so shocking to see the "after", I was blown away. That piece literally looks like an old find. I can't believe the transformation and what an incredible job they did, wow. If you do this, you have to post it!

Cool! Yes do post pics bc I need to see it! I love the finish on the lamps and bet it looks just great on your door knobs.

Love this quote, it's so simple and so true. It's sayings like this that pull me out of my pessimistic tendencies .

I just finished painting my door and boy was it a PITA. I don't know if I will do the other side. I already did the brown outside, but the taping off and touch ups are aggravating.

I also found that I had to redo the knob and put on a lot more sealer than I originally thought. My screwdriver scraped off a huge chunk. I wonder if that person in the Pin used sealer bc she didn't mention it, and I'm sure it didn't stick that well or held up to scratches. I also bought Rustoleum, so I didn't buy the cheapo stuff.

Another thing, was last time I used sealer was for painting my plastic Nerf guns. I don't remember the brand, but it sealed SO well, and even if you take your nail and scratch it, no paint comes off. And usually spray paint slides right off plastic.

Next I am putting up a chair rail, trimming the window, crown moulding and put back the baseboards.

You did an AWESOME job on that door, WOW girl! LOVE it! And seriously those knobs? They could not look more perfect - it looks like you bought them just like that - all perfectly done. You really did a stunning job on those knobs. I hope the sealer works better this time.

Thanks! I finished trimming the window yesterday but no pics yet. On my way back to cali for a quick bday visit. I'll post pics when I'm back.

Here is my window. If you look closely on the last pic you will see I cut the casing 2" short. I don't know what happened there. Just wasn't paying attention. But I wasn't about to throw it out. It's barely noticeable in person. The flash makes it more obvious. Overall I love how it came out.

Now just gotta do the chair rail (already painted) and crown moulding. Then put back the base boards but gotta clean them up and maybe repaint.

Also the blue taped off section I will put up my cork board. I need to find a trim that is about 2" wide to fit.
