| No, I don't rinse it out because I only use a little of it in a lot of water. I alternate between the coconut oil and conditioner, but because the winter was so cold, I used only the coconut oil because Ian had a lot of flakes.

| I see there is a jar of 16 oz for 19.95, or the bogo deal 2 32oz jars for $40. Do I really need that much? Am I going to love it that much?

| It has a very long shelf life, but for one furbaby two jars would last a very long time. If you use it for cooking and for yourself too, it would be a great deal.

| The last jar I bought was the Nutiva extra virgin and it is a 52oz jar. I have used a 1/4 of it in about 5 months. That is with giving Jada and Bogie 1/4 t. each morning.

| I was just ordering the buy one, get one free, but after reading where it lasts a long time, I'm rethinking it. I saw where there is a markdown on the hair treatment one for $9.99 (16 oz), reg. $25. Is this the same as the buy one, get one free?

I've cooked with it and even use it in hot chocolate or sometimes coffee if I want more of a dessert type coffee. The flavor and scent always reminds me of an almond joy candy bar.

| There are several sellers on here who carry Cocotherapy. Here are just a few I can think of off the top of my head. Go Fetch & Company Call Me Pet Sitter LuvMyFurbaby I've used many of the premium organic coconut oils from the health food stores, but none of them compare to Cocotherapy for use with the pups (JMHO)......

Your vet probably reacted that way bc a lot of folks think Coconut Oil is the 'new fad' thing going around. I've read about the general health of populations who use coconut regularly in their diet and have been very impressed. Even used topically, I was shocked at how quickly little sores and cuts heal up completely, both on the dogs, and on me. Yummmm...Coconut Tacos sound great!
