| Three Cheers to all of you who are making a change in your life for the better. ![]() ![]() I am in good health and will be 82 in a couple months and when I was young we knew nothing of the perils of saturated fat and what sugar and soft drinks can do to your body but at about 20 years of age, I started to research and decided to add lots of fruit and vegetables to my diet and cut out a few things. About 20 years later I cut out almost all saturated fat but I still have a hard time giving up sugar completely. Really one can't deprive themselves completely, meal preparation should be an art so you wind up eating something you like but still we good for you. I hated ground turkey however, just love it for a spaghetti sauce and for a burger with spices added that I like. Keep up the good work ![]() Kind Regards, Joan

| I've been doing Focus T-25, and although the weight is coming off much slower than I would like, it IS coming off (7 lbs so far, but it has taken 3 weeks to do that ) Poor Huey still doesn't know what to think about all the activity in the mornings when I get off work. I have discovered it is very difficult to do any of the floor exercises without him jumping on my chest, although HE told me he was adding resistance to help with the workout! This morning, I cleaned all the doggie toys and the shredded napkin off my workout pad before I started, but by the time the 25 min workout was completed, I had a squirrel, a squeeky pig & a toothbrush under my feet that I had to avoid for the last 10 minutes.

| 7 lbs in two weeks is really good!!!!!!! Mine is coming off slower than that, but I look at it this way... It's coming off slow so it will probably be easier to keep it off after I am where I want to be. I'm staying positive about it. |

| I need to try to get back into this. There is so much c*ap going on at work that it drains me off all energy and motivation. How do you all stay motivated?

It's not easy to stay motivated, but I just have a goal I want to reach and make myself stay motivated. | |

| I've been planning a brunch wedding menu....ughh salivating over the shrimp and grits station, the pesto bowties, the grilled cheese and tomato bisque bites, the french toast skewers, the cinnamon roll cakestand...its a good thing I cant eat any of that stuff. I will allow myself a mimosa or two. There's fruit in there afterall. Very healthy.

| hi guys, back from our ski trip and now I am in the middle of varicose vein surgery, my weight has stabilized at what it was before NY, it's taking me forever to get back on the wagon but I am exercising most days. We still have over a ft of snow on the ground. I am glad to see everyone is still trying to stay on the bandwagon in spite of a few twists along the way. Carmen so sorry to hear about your back, how is it doing now? Congratulations on the ring Christinee that is exciting can't wait to see it. Priscilla I did not realize you were moving from CA, how exciting, what are you doing about the bike store, will you be opening one in Vegas. I can't wait to get the hell out of MI but my husband still has about 7 years more to work.

| DBlain! Glad you are back! I've been wondering where you went. ![]() Capt_noonie is lucky to be moving. I want to move out of CA too. It's just too dam expensive here. My fiance job that he loves is here though. The thing is, that company also has a location in Texas. I push him to take his position over there, but I think he worries he will hate it over there or something so I am stuck here I guess... Maybe one day. |

| I've been so busy this week that I haven't made it to the gym in two days. But I have been doing really good with what I've been eating. Hopefully I will find my way to the gym tomorrow after school and make up for it. |

| Hey gals! Sorry I haven't been checking in. Glad to hear some are still losing! Me, I gained some back but my belt is getting a tiny bit looser w me cooking at home vs eating out. I'm covered in bruises from moving. So far everything's been great! Still don't have internet or cable. Just using my phone for internet. Don't want to pay for cable. What a rip off! Got a tv antenna today, not picking up too many channels. |
