I injured my back at work two days ago, herniated disc. So I've been stuck in bed...I literally cannot sit up, cannot stand up, going to the restroom is a 30 minute ordeal where my bf has to lift me out of bed, hold me and help me sit on the toilet lol. its driving me insane...

I can't even prop myself up to eat so I have only consumed Gatorade exclusively for 3 days now. I'm dying to go for a walk...stand up for a little bit...ugh. I was supposed to go to Mardi Gras in Galveston tomorrow for 3 days...already paid my portion for the hotel...can't go now. And to make matters worse, we are in the middle of moving to another apartment. Half our stuff is packed, our landlord wants to do a walkthrough this weekend and we're not ready. This really sucks.

OMgoodness girl I have so been there.... twice. I know exactly how painful it is!! poor thing. I hope you feel better really soon.

I felt bad discarding the pulp, since there's still so much nutrition left there.
I mixed it with ground beef and slow baked it to make jerky treat for babies.
They LOVED it so much!!! I tasted it myself, and it was pretty darn good!

This way I don't waste anything and we(me & my babies) all get healthy together! I'll post some pics tomorrow...

That's a great idea! I wanted to use the pulp to make a compost heap when I was juicing. I want to get into gardening so that would be good for that. Maybe I might try again soon. It's just such a PITA to clean!

Oh no. I hope you feel better soon. Hopefully your landlord can give you a few more days?

Actually, I am blessed with amazing friends and we got it (mostly) all done today! My best friend brought her carpet cleaner over and cleaned our entire old apartment. My bf and all our guy friends moved everything. I dictated

We have a few odds and ends to take care of, but we have til Monday to finish. The dogs are excited and a little nervous, but doing better than I expected. We're actually already moved in..staying the night at the new place. Luma isn't even sliding on the hardwood like I worried about...yay!

I feel better enough to stand up and walk around a little, so that was my exercise for today

Felt nice, too. Maybe I'll go to the gym and just walk on the treadmill tomorrow. Don't wanna injure myself all over again.

Oh that's great news about all the help you got! I am also worried about the dogs on our upcoming move. I wonder how it would be while moving stuff out into the moving truck, with all the doors opening and closing, and the same when we get to the new house. I wouldn't want to have to lock them up bc that will for sure mean non stop barking.

Good to know you have good friends and family to help you. I remember when my back went out, my daughter always stayed close enough that I could just call for her if I needed help. When she was going to go farther than that, she made sure I had my phone within arms reach to call her if I needed. She is too sweet.

My back has been bothering me a little too. Kind of like how it starts in the beginning of a slipped disk before it actually slips. I recognize it now, so I try to pay attention to my slouching and stretch it a lot to get it back into place when I notice my back bothering me. I hope to never have to go through another episode again.

So much has been going on that I haven't been to the gym for 4 days now. So I am going now. I would much rather lay under a blanket and listen to the rain hit the windows while watching a good movie, but I am going to ignore the little voice in my head that is telling me to be lazy and go now.

The Hat Pastrami Dip. One by myself was me holding back. On one of me and bf's first dates we went to The Hat. I ordered two pastrami dips and he looked at me like, you can eat the whole thing? And I looked at him like, Um, yeah?

DUH?!

Now I cannot barely finish half of these.
