| ugh, the after work is crazy huh? We are still writing thank you notes, we finally opened a bank account together. We are almost done the notes, but then after that, we have to pick 80 pics for our album and then we need to make albums for our parents. There is still a ton of wedding related stuff to do even after the wedding! Plus changing your name, new license, Credit card info, passport, uggghhh! Linz, your day will be perfect! Don't stress on the small stuff. Black shoes will still look GREAT with teal dresses with teal sashes. I know it's not what you wanted and I'm glad they can change it (of course they can) but please hunny, you are going to look back and laugh after its done and be like "Why did I care soooooo much?" LOL I think maybe my grandmother dying a month before my wedding put everything into perspective for me. There were so many things I could have flipped about..... but truth was, I wanted to marry my fiance. As long as he, I and our JP showed up and by the end of March 24th I was married to the greatest guy in the world for me, it was going to be the best day of my life. Oh my gosh, did you girls see on the news the couple that got married in Canada and all their wedding pics were blurry, or zoomed so far out you can't make them out? Terrible! I feel so bad for them. Really when the day is over you get the pictures to remember it. They won't have pics and you can't recreate the day again. They are trying to get their money back, but man for me, that just wouldn't make things ok at all. Imagine not having 1 good pic of your wedding day?

| 8 weeks and 2 days left for me!!! Who else is still counting down? My biggest issue with the dresses is that they screwed them up from the start, and it's really just giving us a whole lot more hassle! The second bridesmaid dress is still not in so if it's not there tomorrow I'm calling and trying to track it down... We ordered originally 5 months ago and I will see that bridesmaid for the last time next weekend! Our RSVPs keep coming in the mail We've had a few no's so far, and I'm hoping we get a few more just so we get the minimum lol! I feel bad saying that but I am not a big crowd kind of person and not good at being centre of attention, so I want the smallest crowd possible! My bridal shower is next weekend in my hometown so I'm pretty excited for that Oh and we start marriage prep meetings with our minister on Tuesday! I feel like time is going by so fast since I started counting in weeks instead of months!

| Ack! Today is 4 weeks that we've been married...I can't believe how the time flies! We are still waiting for both our photos and videos. I am not a very patient waiter. DH also wants to use one of our professional pics for our thank you cards, so we haven't done those yet either. We stopped by the restaurant where we had our reception today to give a little thank you to the coordinator there who put everything together for us. We ordered her a cookie basket (Cookie Gift Baskets | Cookies | Cookie Bouquet | Cookie Bouquet Delivery), which I thought was adorable and different. She loved it! Best of luck to those of you still planning!

| The cookie basket is a great idea!!! We had a meeting with our pastor last night for marriage prep. He originally told us he'd do 4 or so informal meetings with us becuase the church we are being married in no longer offers its own formal classes. So he talked a little bit about how to treat each other and that he has refused to marry couples who are going through rough patches and think a marrige will fix things etc. At the end of it, he said we seem to have a good handle on our relationship and have realistic expectations, and he will not need to see us again until the rehearsal!!! Or of course, we can call him if we have any issues. But otherwise, I guess we're prepared lol! I feel like I still have a million things to do in the next few weeks My fiance's groomsmen let me know they will be kidnapping him from work and keeping him for the whole weekend 2 weeks before our wedding. First of all they were going to take him a couple of days before and I was so stressed out! We can't afford to lose days of work because we are already taking some time without pay for the honeymoon. Anyways, I tried to explain and they said okay, they'll make sure it's just a few hours on a Friday, and then they'll have him for the weekend. It's a surprise to him and he doesn't want to know anything but I'm still pretty stressed because we are going to be SO BUSY trying to get the last minute things done! We work full time so we can't do these things during the week I thought his bachelor party might be just one night or something.

| Oh, you are so lucky you don't have to do the marriage prep stuff! We had to spend a Saturday and a Sunday (6 hours each!) at marriage prep. It was sort of annoying since I am a Catholic School teacher, and probably could have taught the course myself. DH is Jewish, so it was 12 wasted hours of his life. We finally got our pictures back from David's Bridal. I'm not overly thrilled, to be honest. I actually cried all night after I first saw them. They just didn't come out like I had hoped they would. The photos seem so stiff and posed. No cute shots of us giggling together, sharing a secret smile, or him with his arms around me. The church shots are particularly bad, because they are mostly of our backs (Monsignor wouldn't let the photographer too close to the altar). To me the pictures don't reflect the absolutely perfect wedding day that we had. I just wish I had done better research on a photographer, instead of going with DB because it was cheap and easy. It's a mistake I will have to live with for the rest of my life. Now we have the fun task of trying to pick pictures for our thank you cards. Ugh.

What I found really funny was, my husband asked him for the traditional hands with rings pic and he said he was surprised, he didn't think we wanted traditional pics like that. Well... uuummm... why the 800 posed family pics then? I haven't told my husband how disappointed I am with the wedding pics, but I really am. I thought he could have done more fun & creative and DEFINITELY more shots of just my husband & I. There are barely ANY of just us 2.

| I am so sorry both of your pictures didn't turn out well!!! I am hoping mine are done well. I guess I'll be sure to have a list of pictures I want for sure! A friend of mine complained that her pictures were ALL fun and there was only one or two nice posed ones. In her case though, she didn't even get the pictures without a fight. And she only got a portion of them 6 months after the wedding, and had to touch them all up herself. The photographers blocked their number They now have an "F" rating with the BBB!

| I am still here!! Busy, busy, busy! We got the bridesmaid dress situation sorted out. One belt is changed and the second should also be ready now, but that bridesmaid will just pick it up when she comes to the city later this month. Luckily she needs no alterations! We had another situation ordering the flower girl dresses. We found the ones we loved, ordered them, and then got a phone call later saying they're discontinued! So I had to find new ones online and order those, so I wouldn't have to take the girls out of school again (my weekends have been booked!) I had my bridal shower and bachelorette party in my hometown a few weeks ago. On my way home, I stopped at Burger King (I never eat there, but we were driving a friend home as well and she said she'd buy it for us). That friend and I both had a chicken sandwich, and that night we both realized we had food poisoning!! I was sick for a couple of days, so the shower and the party later were a little painful to go through! But they were great anyway! Since I was so sick, my bridesmaid and friends decided they wanted to throw me another bachelorette party here in my city! I didn't need one but they insisted. It will be next weekend, the 16th! We have bought all our gifts for everyone helping out with the wedding and our wedding party. We have almost all of our RSVP's in. Today I am going for my first hair trial (I will go for another in a couple of weeks, I want to try one updo and one down, so I have a choice depending on the weather that day!) My dress is in alterations right now (just need a little taken in at the bust!). I'm trying to break in my wedding shoes, but they're still a little painful after an hour of wearing them! I am waiting for my veil to come in the mail, since I ordered it from Etsy 4 and a half more weeks to go!

| Oh, funny story at my bridal shower!!! My MOH is my best friend from my hometown. That morning, she came by and asked me a bunch of random questions, sort of like those email surveys that used to go around between friends. Anyways, at the shower she handed out sheets to everyone with those same questions to fill out about me. There were prizes for the most answers right. Yeah, that's a good idea. Then she was like "Back in 1999 I decided to survey all my friends and now we will see how different Lindsey's answers are now from then" LOL! I had no idea!!! So back then, when I was 15, when I grew up I guess I wanted to be "Josh Hartnett's wife" lol! He was an actor and I thought he was sooooo hot. I also had considerably more hobbies when I was 15 than I do now lol. It was pretty funny!

| Thats hysterical! I can't believe she did that and saved it for all these years! How fun! Wow, you are down to the wire now! It must be flying by for you now! For me the last 2 weeks were crazy!!! Then the few days before were like NOTHING to do! 2 days before the wedding I dropped off everything at the vendors. Then there was nothing to do but pick up people at the airport and the rehearsal dinner. It was a weird feeling! I hope you are having FUN being engaged and the bride-to-be! Once the wedding is over, that attention is over too, so enjoy it! haha
