As brides to be maybe you all can help me out. The colors for the wedding are black/hot pink and I believe touches of silver. The brides' mom is wearing black, which is what I originally thought of wearing. She has her dress already, I do not. Should I continue with the idea of wearing black also, or should I try to find another color? My problem is, most dresses that are hot pink are nothing a 52 year old woman should wear, IMO. I think you also wearing black would be fine. You can also consider gray since it's kind of like silver with black accessories. Or black with silver accessories.
I'm sure it would be fine unless you both end up wearing the same dress.
