We had a meeting with our pastor last night for marriage prep. He originally told us he'd do 4 or so informal meetings with us becuase the church we are being married in no longer offers its own formal classes. So he talked a little bit about how to treat each other and that he has refused to marry couples who are going through rough patches and think a marrige will fix things etc. At the end of it, he said we seem to have a good handle on our relationship and have realistic expectations, and he will not need to see us again until the rehearsal!!! Or of course, we can call him if we have any issues. But otherwise, I guess we're prepared lol!
I feel like I still have a million things to do in the next few weeks
My fiance's groomsmen let me know they will be kidnapping him from work and keeping him for the whole weekend 2 weeks before our wedding. First of all they were going to take him a couple of days before and I was so stressed out! We can't afford to lose days of work because we are already taking some time without pay for the honeymoon. Anyways, I tried to explain and they said okay, they'll make sure it's just a few hours on a Friday, and then they'll have him for the weekend. It's a surprise to him and he doesn't want to know anything but I'm still pretty stressed because we are going to be SO BUSY trying to get the last minute things done! We work full time so we can't do these things during the week
I thought his bachelor party might be just one night or something.
