| Oh boy, sounds like a lot of work on those invitations! Interestingly enough, as a way to make a few bucks on the side, I make invitations for other people's events. I had no interest in making my own...LOL. Maybe because I wasn't making any money on them. We ordered ours from David's Bridal and we've received a lot of compliments on them from the people we sent them to.

| I am having bridesmaid dress issues! We ordered in January, and they were supposed to arrive in April. No problem. My bridal shower will most likely be in May, so I will see the girls then and can deliver their dresses (they do not live here). I got home yesterday and had a message on the phone, saying one dress is in (the girl who lives 2 hours from me) and the other dress will be shipped April 27th (the girl who lives over 5 hours from me)... Come on!!! We ordered in JANUARY! And it's not even being SHIPPED until the end of April? I'm thinking the store made an error and didn't order, or ordered the wrong size or something. It makes no sense that one is in and the other isn't, when they were ordered at the same time. I need to call on my lunch break today If I don't have it by the time of my shower, I will have to drive over 5 hours ONE WAY to deliver it to my friend. If that's the case I'd better be getting a discount

I had issues with my girls shoes...they came in and were so uncomfortable I had to return them. I am just going to let the girls wear whatever they want/comfortable in. I am just going to ask that they wear something neutral. Speaking of shoes...did you get shoes yet? I am having a really hard time finding what I am looking for. I basically want a off white satin peep toe and cannot find it anywhere.

| Well what I figured out about the dresses is that basically the store forgot to order the second one, but they are refusing to admit it was their fault. So there's not much I can do. When I went into the store, the girl went to the back for about 20 minutes and came back to tell me that they ordered both dresses, but for some reason the second dress did not show up on the manufacturer's order and only one got made. Shouldn't there be some sort of check? Should the manufacturer give them back a receipt of their order to make sure they have everything? I don't know, either way it was overlooked, and now it seems it will be in Toronto on May 4th and then ship here from there. If I get it in time to see my bridesmaid in May, and it exactly matches the color of the first dress, then I guess it won't matter. I am letting my girls wear what they want too... I just asked that they both wear black shoes, but the style doesn't matter! I actually ordered my shoes from DSW. Well, technically, a good friend ordered for me because they don't ship to Canada! I found exactly what I wanted and the price was pretty good too! They are red satin peep-toe pumps with little ruffles across the toe. They came in a bunch of different colors and they are pretty comfortable. I can normally wear 4 inch heels and I think these are about 2.5 or 3 inch so they should be comfortable for all day!

| Sounds like a cover up to me. Maybe they can ship it directly to your bridesmaid so you don't have to make the 5 hour drive? Your shoes sound very very cute!!! Colored shoes are really IN now. My shoes were 4 inch purple suede with a wine colored satin knot across the peep toe. They are gorgeous! I wore them ok for awhile but didn't try to dance in them, I changed into flip flops with a stacked heel for the reception. One of my bridesmaids wore silver heels, the other one wore wine colored flats (she was super super pregnant!) One wore her hair up, the other wore her hair down. You can't imagine though, even though they were not the same, they look so good in pictures and I love how natural they look, pictures come out so good when the people in them are comfortable with themselves. You'll be happy you let your girls pick their own things because they will be happy!

| I think my bridal shower will be mid- to late-May so if the dress comes in at the time they said, I should be able to give it to her then. I am down to the double digits now... my wedding is 93(ish?) days away!!! This weekend we are addressing our envelopes with my future in-laws. We made little maps last night for the church and the reception venue, with notes about parking downtown for the church (we're going to scope out a few more parking lots and their rates today after work to include on the map!) and information about special room rates at the hotel where the reception will be. Now I'm kind of just counting down the days to have free evenings and weekends again - it's not just the wedding I'm excited for lol! Oh and tomorrow I'm going shopping with my mom and my flower girls for their dresses I also want to try on my dress again for them!

| Sooooo exciting!!! Enjoy every minute of it, even the counting down. It felt like forever away and then it was here and then it was over. I'm kind of in post wedding blues. haha Naw... I love my husband, but I really wish I could redo the wedding day again & again! Try on your gown as much as you want to! You only get to wear it once, so wear it in the store 100x if you want to!

| Just 9 days to go! I'm so ready for this day to be here! All the last minute stuff is pretty stressful. My dress (after 3 fittings and some serious aggravation) is finally done and hanging at my mother's house. We met with the videographer last night (he was a VERY last minute addition) and now we have to start working on the seating chart and place cards. So thankful it's just 35 people we have to seat. The only thing I really have to do now is find a good bra with some lift. I changed my undergarment after last week's fitting. My bustier, though it was comfortable and gave me great lift, had boning that was actually poking through my dress at my hips. Sad. We made reservations for a little overnight "honeymoon" the day after the wedding at a Catskills resort. We will take an actual honeymoon in the summer when I am off.

| How exciting!!!! I know what you mean by being SOOO done with the last details... at some point, you are just like 'ok.. Im sooo done the planning' and there is still a half dozen other things to do. On the thursday before my wedding we dropped off everything to all our vendors... there was truly nothing left to do. I felt soooo happy that I was DONE! Just enjoy your last 9 days. Seriously, ladies, I cannot say it enough, it's over WAY too fast! I have been married 12 days now!!! I can't even believe it!

| Married lady here! Our wedding on Saturday was absolutely perfect! Everything went exactly the way we wanted it to, and I can't believe I worried so much! I can't wait to get a look at the pictures. Our "mini-moon" was fantastic as well...an amazing 24 hours at a resort/spa in the Catskills. Huge suite, champagne in the jacuzzi, couples massage...we so didn't want to come home. However, it was awesome to pick Roxie up at the kennel and see how happy she was to be back with her mommy and daddy! Now it's back to everyday life. It's weird to not have planning stuff to do...LOL.

| We only have 11 weeks left. We're not even counting down by months anymore We had another issue with the bridesmaid dresses! One is in, and one is still on order and should be here in May (becuase the store forgot to order the second one, as I mentioned earlier). So the bridesmaid whose dress is in, picked up her dress on Tuesday while she was here for a conference. She loved it, she tried it on and it fit, etc. I was at work so I couldn't be there to see! She went home (2 hours away). She also bought some black shoes and was telling me this morning she was going to take a picture of her in the shoes and dress to show me. Then she said "By the way, did you think this dress came with a sash? Because it did not." Yes, it comes with a sash, a black sash which will match their black shoes. She called the store and they told her oh the sash is there at the store (whoever gave her the dress forgot it I guess?) and it's a TEAL sash. The dresses are teal, the sashes are supposed to be black. We said that when we ordered!!!!!!!! Anyways, my bridesmaid said we need a BLACK sash and they basically said sorry, that will be an extra charge to change it now. I left work and got in my car to drive over there. When I got there I was prepared to be bridezilla, but when I tried to say what happened I started crying I am just so stressed. I guess either way it worked - as soon as I can bring the first dress back to the store, it will be changed to a black belt at NO CHARGE and they will also change the dress still coming in. Crisis averted. But annoying and frustrating and stressful nonetheless. I am so ready for the wedding to be over

| Aw Linz...sorry that dress fiasco stressed you out so much. I'm sure everyone will look awesome when it's all said and done! Your 11 weeks will just fly and the next thing you know, your big day will be here! I couldn't stand the drama, so I didn't even have bridesmaids. I told my sisters-in-law and nieces to get whatever kind of dresses they wanted. They, and my mom, all chose to get their dresses in our colors (purples) and it looked so nice in the pictures. My younger sister-in-law and my oldest niece were extremely helpful all day, so it was kind of like having bridesmaids! I can't believe we are married a week already! Where does the time go? We have to start dealing with bank stuff and thank you cards. I was going to wait until we got the disc of pictures from the photographer and have our thank you cards made up with one of those pictures. He said it would be about 2 weeks.
