| I've never heard of a Jack and Jill either, they just don't happen around here! I met with my friend's mom on the weekend, who is supplying all of our candles for free She sells candles and said she offers the same thing to every wedding in their family, or special people to them. Her daughter is my matron of honor, and we've been best friends our whole lives! Anyways, my mom and I went over and took the candle holders and found some great turquoise colored tealights to use. I know I still have a lot of time left, but I've been thinking about hairstyles! I watched the Oscars last week and I kind of fell in love with Tina Fey's hair. I had thought I'd wear my hair down, but now I really love the look of that classic elegant updo! We'll see, I still have time to think about it

| Hi Linz, it's gayle from 4 women. I wore my hair up for my first wedding, in a style I had never worn before and never worn again. I really thought it looked pretty, but I always wished my wedding pics looked more like "me" and I just didn't think the hairstyle looked like me. For my second wedding, I wore it down in a style i often wore, and I liked my wedding pics much more when I felt like me. However, I understand your wedding is a once in a lifetime event and you may want to look completely different for that special day. It's just something to think about.

| Nope I haven't had the trial yet! I think I will do that around the end of May/start of June. When I go in for my first dress fitting I think I will put my hair up and see how it looks with the dress. Every time I've tried the dress on I've had my hair down!

| Are any of you girls wearing a veil? If so, what does it look like? I am trying to decide what type (and length) of veil I want. Please post pictures!

| I think I am going with a birdcage veil. It's all I've tried on so far! When I was trying on dresses, I put on a birdcage veil with the dress I picked, and I loved it! I may try a longer one too when I go for fittings. I think I like the vintage-y look of the birdcage though! I'd like to get one with a little ivory flower or something on the side, and after the ceremony I can take off the veil and keep the flower in my hair My engagement photos are done!!! Here are the ones our photographer posted on his blog. We are getting the dvd of all the photos today. It was soooooo cold that day! The last picture is more candid and you can see my hands stuffed in my sleeves lol! I couldn't even feel my hands at that point! blog.naiduphotography.com/2012/03/07/lindsey-scott-engaged-in-saskatoon/

How exciting!!! I love your photos. The one of you two on the bench taken from the back is so cute!! It looks like it should be a card or something! If you do your hair in that updo you are thinking a bird cage veil will look really good!! The flower idea is great too...even if you don't find one with a flower, you could always buy a flower for your hair separately. I just started thinking about my veil. I think I want either a floor length or a chapel length veil. Not sure if I want just plain tulle or chantilly lace at the end (just at the bottom not on the sides). I am leaning towars the plain tulle one since my dress is mostly lace with a little tulle. Also, I ordered the belt to go with my dress, but am debating wearing the belt to the church...not sure it is too much with the veil. I was thinking of going no belt for ceremony and then after I remove my veil, I'll put the belt on. Here is a pic of my dress again. What do you think? emma_moniquelhuillierweddingdress_a.jpg

| Yes! Teddy & Piper will be there. Our hotel is pet friendly so after the ceremony we are going to take a few photos with them!

| I think a long tulle veil would look amazing with your dress!!!!! I am still not sure about my pups! Layla will be at the hotel for sure, and we're not sure about the other two now that our pet sitter did not work out! Lucy has a very shrill scream and she's so scared of everything that she will scream for hours in any new place, even if she's surrounded by people she knows. We took her to my parents' house on the weekend for the first time and it was deafening!!! I don't think we can do that on our wedding night... for both the other hotel guests, and for Lucy being so scared!

| That's too cute. Will they be dressed for the occasion? I still don't know whether it's a good idea for my 2 to be at the wedding. I know what my mother would say. No! |

They will not be at the church ceremony or the reception. In between we will just snap a few photos with them and then they will go back to the hotel. Luckily for us our families are big yorkie lovers. My cousin and his wife said they would get the dogs after the ceremony bring them to us for pictures and then take them back to the hotel. In the morning getting ready, Piper will be in the room with me and Teddy will be in the room with Matt. I love that idea and think we will have some cute pictures.
