Oh My good ness Well first I am glad you went ahead and got the girl. I would of done that too. As for giving her back I wouldn't if she had sold her to a stranger she wouldn't get her back. If you still owe her money I would get it together so the next time she calls or stops by you can offer it to her and I bet she takes the money. Good luck in what ever happens. But I think the woman is nuts.

I paid cash & just have the contract saying I will give $500 down & pay the rest by Jan 1st. But she definately will not get lola back with out returning my deposit. I feel that she should not have spent it at least until that 3 week period was up. I was attached to lola before i ever had her in my possession.

Maybe you could come up with the balance somehow and Kind of waive in front of her....Something tells me she might take it, and you would be done with her..????

And I do not blame you for at least trying to get your "dream baby". I probably would have done the same thing....And I would try everything in my power to keep her too....Which I think you probably will try too???

true. I would give her the rest of the money but with the genetic problems she should be more fair. But she had already sent a message saying she wanted her back. She has put her 4sale many many times.

I wouldn't give her back...I'd find a way to keep her. I would also have her microchipped in your name...I think that holds a lot of weight in court

I am sorry she is doing this...she probably found someone who offeredmore money, witch! I hope and pray you get to keep her through this ordeal and the three weeks be up and she will be yours! I would also go get her microchipped!!! If she can not give you your money back by the end of the third week and you have chip is in your name, she is yours. Just don' tell her that...

Actually you have a contract saying x amount down pay in full by x date that is a binding agreement she can't just change her mind. Also she would need MONEY to take you to court to get the dog back. I would stand your ground !!!!!!! you are in the right.

I agree with the others who suggested coming up with the money right away. Perhaps she is just doing this to try to get money from you sooner rather than Jan. 1st? I could be wrong, but you never know...

I'm sorry that she wants her back, it will be hard to give her up after having her with you all this time..

Sorry, I forgot to add this along with my other post. Maybe she didn't feel comfortable saying something like "Um, I've decided I want the rest of the money now, instead of in January", so this could be her ploy to get that money out of you sooner. She knows you're attached to the girl, and if you had to pay her sooner, then you would. My suggestion is try to offer her the balance you owe her and see how she reacts. If she willingly agrees, then she was probably just after the money.

I did not read this entire thread but I have an idea who it may be. I see you are from Ohio and there is someone is North Benton who is a breeder and in deep trouble with the AKC. She has a couple friends or they may be relatives
that she gives dogs to for them to sell for her. I just get the paper Fri. Sat and Sun paper so when I get ahold of a paper today I'll get the phone #'s of a couple to you by pm.

She'll sell her but take her back if she misses her.....is she nuts
