I am sorry you are going through this...In the meantime, how is your little boy doing (Bubba)? I know that Lucy bonded with me within days, and I mean really bonded. Have you found a good home for him or is he resting on what happens with Lola as to whether you will keep him?

Best of luck. The lady sounds shady at best and not to be trusted.

THAT is just plain WRONG!! If she sold her for 3 grand she wouldnt be missing her!!!!!!!!!! OMG I am ticked off!! I agree that you should get her microchipped asap and STAND your ground...go to court if you need to!! I cant beleive she spent your money!!! NO WAY..do NOT give her back the dog!! This dog is just a pawn to her...you have to STOP her game!! I wonder if she has done this to others!!

She sounded so shady from the start stating that if she misses her then she would be able to get her back. It's sad that she did this to you.

Was the agrement verbal or did you sign papers? If you signed papers, did she have a copy also? I know you said that you had a payment plan, and that all the money was not payed in full, so I believe that the law would be on her side, and it just is mot fair at all for you. How soon does she want her back? It's sad to think she wants to use her for breeding!I hope their is a way for you to somehow keep her!

I would also tell her you want your deposit back NOW or you keep the dog and will pay her off in January like you said you would...no more no less...Im sick of HER demands to YOU..you need to start making the demands...

If you don't make the rules quickly, she will take advantage. I would guess her plans are if she finds someone to give her more money.....all of a sudden she will miss her. Is any of this in writing?? Like I said I'm in a hurry and have not had a chance to read much more than the first and last page.

I agree that the deposit should have to be given ASAP to be able to get her back. It is not fair to have to keep her and care for her while the previous owner is scrambling to get back the deposit money she already spent.

It is in writing that we both had 3 weeks to decide but how long should I be expected to wait for my deposit. Maybe I legally can say I will give her 7 days & I also want reimbursed for the vet visit or she voided the contract by saying she wants her back & then could not return the deposit

Maybe she lost the contract & thats why she paniced.

Little guys name is offically Rally, it suits him. He & I are just still not bonding... its strange

Rachel, tell her you will give her baby back when she gets you your deposit back...hopefully she will go over the three weeks to get it together, if not...avoid her at all costs until your 3 weeks are up. P.S. do not sign for any certified letters, hehe

This is bad!

As for Rally, I am sure he will adjust if you do rehome him. But I also think you will not regret keeping him, if you do. You know whats right for you and you should follow what you feel.

ok I reread the contract & it says if I would decide to return the dog she has 3 weeks to pay, but if she does it has to be paid at time of termination.

GOOD!! She broke the contract..please contact a lawyer..its not fair for her to break the contract..if you did she would go nuts!!
