Maybe she didn't feel comfortable saying something like "Um, I've decided I want the rest of the money now, instead of in January", so this could be her ploy to get that money out of you sooner. She knows you're attached to the girl, and if you had to pay her sooner, then you would. My suggestion is try to offer her the balance you owe her and see how she reacts. If she willingly agrees, then she was probably just after the money. |
