| ![]() Just a few suggestions...Baltimore and Philadelphia are very dog friendly. Parks; restaurants; hotels...I do wedding planning and event planning occasionally in NYC and Philly so if we do anything there let me know...I know good vendors. =)

| ![]() there will probably not be any info for a while.. we want to give everyone a chance to see this thread and respond if they want to come... however the few of us that are working on this are hoping ot have a city and state maybe in a few weeks.. it's a little early still to make any decisions until we hear from anyone that wants to come ![]() |

| ![]() I think it would be so fun! I really wanted to go to the Yorkie fair, but my boyfriend wouldn't drive that far with me. I'm in SE Ontario (right on the border of Massena, NY). I think Syracuse, NY or NYC would be fantastic. I really love NY State (not to mention, it's close enough that the boyfriend would go or I could drive by myself). Indiana would be way too far for me...Michigan is really far too, but if we plan it far in advance, we could probably swing it? Philly is a GREAT city. LOVE LOVE LOVE it there. I could definitely go somewhere in PA. I've always wanted to go to Chicago, but even that is far. Anyways...for me, somewhere in NY would be the best ![]() Count me in for sure if it's w/in 8 hours (possibly up to 12)

| ![]() If you still need "committee" members, let me know. I'm love planning/organizing events and I'm so bored now that I'm off for the summer LOL (I'm in university).

| ![]() Ok, don't shoot me, I am just raising questions.... I think that a committee should be formed with enough people to get the job done, but not too many that a decision can't be made. I think that there are some questions to be asked. Some financial, what can you or can't you do to collect fees for the event. Does it matter what state you meet in for that. If you have vendor booths, what happens if you decide to have it in an area with unions (some areas you are not even allowed to lift a table with out paying the union). What about potty area requirements, fire marshall, etc..... Do you have to have a permit to have the meeting in that area? Now, I think any good hotel or meeting place could help answer some of the questions, but, if we are serious about doing this we need to ask. Michelle |

| ![]() I'd like to attend the meet-up. I'd prefer it to be on the west coast, but everyone wants it to be close to them, so there's less travel time. So my only request is that it be somewhere fun, where there's a lot of things to do outside of the meetup, so that the people who come from far away can make a mini-weekend of it. Like Los Angeles, or New York, like a lot of people have suggested.

| ![]() i think if we have a central one than its gonna be in like kansas most definately and if we do one on each end its gonna have to be in the central part of both sides. you have to make it even for north and south. like for the east maybe Kentucky and for the west maybe utah or close to there lol i hope i have my easts and wests right, but like for the west you cants say ohh ny because for people in tx or the south states thats not fair. same for east |

| ![]() We are in Ohio and I would say we would be willing to travel 6-8 hours or so depending on where it is. I loved the Ann Arbor location, it seemed to be a really dog friendly place. We ate several times at Zingerman's Deli, very dog friendly! I'm willing to help and more than willing to pay a fee. It would be wonderful to find a nice mix where there can be vendors and a nice play to sit, chat and the dogs play! Chicago sounds great to me, there has to be something that would be perfect there! Please let me know if I can assist in anyway! I enjoyed this past weekend so much! |
