I want to add that there are TONS of members here from Texas. And DFW is a big airport that supports all major cities. So I think travel would be easy for those flying. And if you get them early enough, flights aren't usually TOO expensive. I flew to NY last year for just $200.


Something else I thought of....if we plan to have vendors there, it'll be hard for them to get all their stuff there. I have blankets, and they take up a LOT of room, so there's no way I could fly with them. It would actually even be hard to drive with them, but that's what I'd have to do. So I'd only be able to go if it's within driving distance.

I originally voted for East/West but after reading more I am leaning towards the central being better for the first one. This is really gonna be great no matter what's decided. I am available to help either committee or volunteer. If I put half the time I spend on Yorkie Talk into helping with the meetup, I could get SO MUCH done!

I'd LOVE to meet everyone, but there's just no way I could afford to go as far as Kentucky (or w/e central).

I don't think my car would make it that far...lol

I guess if I was roadtripping with someone else that would be a different story, but I'd still prefer to have it NorthEast-ish.

so you an d her could drive 4 hours each meet and come together Car pooling saves money
