wow, looks like you guys are doing great! I'm game for St. Louis or Chicago. I can't be on a committee cause I have so much on my plate right now, but I would love to be a vendor again!

Great idea Marci, you are doing great!!!! Just make sure you do lots of research cause we def have to have a dog friendly place!!!!!! I love the idea of being able to take my girls on a boat ride! But I want Jenn to be able to come!!!!!

I would be willing to fly but I know I wouldn't be able to bring Rudy. He's almost 14 lbs and wouldn't fit/be in the weight limit to ride with me in coach. And I won't put him in cargo. Hey, I could just get a button made up with his sweet face on it and wear that. I know I"m not a "leader" I'm a "follower" so I'd be more than happy to help out, just not with the major decisions.

I don't blame you for not putting him in cargo! I would not do that either! I have never flew in my life, so I have no idea, but why can't you hold them?

I think it's airline regulations that even if you hold them, you have to have a carrier for them and for them to be able to fit in a carrier under your seat/the seat in front of you. Rudy no longer fits in that size carrier. He's a big boy. Ah... Yougetthesmiles, you can do it, flying is not that bad. We all would want you to come....

This sounds like fun. I don't really like the whole idea about 2 (East/West Meetups). Ideally, I think that for the first YT Meetup, we should all meet Centrally.

I'm SO thrilled to see people taking this idea SERIOUSLY! I've tossed it around before, but few took it seriously and the idea would fizzel out. I love the idea of a central location...maybe some people could carpool and save money that way. I'm willing to drive 12 hours...more if I have a companion driver. I'll be watching this thread with intrest. I had a GREAT time at the Yorkie Fair in Michigan! Shopping was fun, but interacting with friends...both old and new...was the BEST part of the weekend!! I'm so excited! And with a year to save I should be set to socialize AND shop!! Please let me know if I can help out in any way. i think you are right.. i think the FIRST should be in just one place.. if after the first we see that it would work better the following year east/west.. then we can go from there....

I was thinking, if we all meet in one place and if it is a success with a really good turn-out and all then we could split the meet-ups into two the following years.
