| Ok... let's try this.. HUGE Yorkie Talk Meetup!! After being at the Yorkie Fair this weekend and meeting a handful of people i want to meet MORE! and i know everyone there feels the EXACT same! so i'm just going to throw this out there for now... too early to make anything in stone. BUT if you would seriously consider coming to a HUGE YORKIE TALK MEET UP next summer sometime... reply to this thread and tell us (and by us i'm hoping that Jodie- LuvMySissy is still on board ) where you live, how far you would travel to come to this - in miles please... or just say ANYWHERE and that's great! and tell us the best month for you. Also if you live in a city that has somewhere you think would work for this meet up (the Yorkie Fair was at a dog training centre in Ann Arbour) Also if you sell clothes or toys or whatever, that is welcome too! the shopping was the second best thing to the socializing Also... those on the soccer teams... this is where our official FIRST game would be held!! GO GIRLS GO!!! ok let's see what you think!! |

| Pennsylvania...I'll travel up to 10 hours by car...as long as I can find a good dog-friendly place to stay. We'd consider flying, but only if it's in Texas

| I'm thinking that for all of you who have great dog parks - is there a shelter or building that is rentable at your dog park??? This would give us options in case of bad weather and picnic tables for those who wanted to be vendors. If we rent some kind of facility for a huge (hopefully) meet-up, would those of you considering such a thing be willing to pay a small fee in advance to attend (like $5)???? Just brainstorming here - so post your ideas!!!!!

| The best part of the Yorkie Fair was there was a "host hotel" (although i heard it wasn't the best.. but still...) that allowed pets... where people met up for supper.. this meetup would have the same... the site for the fair had about 4 hotels at various prices in the area that allowed pets, so that would definitly be taken care of.. and i think there was a lower rate because there were so many people staying. |

| Indiana!!!! not sure about how far I could travel, but I'd love to hear what final decisions are made to see if me and Otis could come. Oliver gets car sick so he can stay home with grandma.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i would love to have something in the NYC area. I can't travel very far because i can't take days off from work and i'm too poor to afford plane tickets (not to mention slightly afraid of flying now a days)

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | We would love to come-Jaxon and I would really like to visit with everyone too! We would like to say to have it before Memorial weekend, cause summers are just so- busy!!!! if we met somewhere at a pet friendly hotel, maybe they could have a banquet room for the fair too-you know like the meeting rooms, probably at low charge if we all stayed there. We also love pajamma parties!!! LOL

| Same boat I'm in except I live in PA on the NY border - straight down from Syracuse. Elmira, Binghamton, Syracuse, NY - Scranton, PA. Maybe a little farther. I would love to attend one - there are no members in my area.
