ahh i'm reading this and i KNOW we can't please everyone... i'm going to have to fly wherever.. i've come to terms with that

if we do do one central it will be WAY too far for me to drive... once this thread has settled down and i think that all those who have an opinion have expressed it.. the committee will figure out if it is just one or two meetups.. then we will post ANOTHER poll with about 4 or 5 states to choose from... keep an eye out for it

I think once you all make a decision and tell everyone where it is - most will find a way to get there - I know I will. You are awesome for taking this on.

that's what i'm hoping... i figure with THIS much notice.. if you want to be there... between car pooling and cheap flights... a way can be found

and thank you! but i'm not alone in it... Jodie, Denise and Jenn have been a great help! after meeting 6 or so ladies from here this past weekend i want to meet more!! and i know everyone else feels the same

yeah i guess we will just see what happens i know i tickets arent that much but when your by yourself and pay your own bills lol its hard. but hey lets hope everyone can agree and if some cant make it hopefully next time they will including myself

Atlanta...Ga..And given enough notice!! I am game to travel almost anyway!!

Keep in mind also that if enough people from one area are traveling as a group you can get airfare at a discount..also if you know anyone who works for the airlines you can try an get a buddy pass if you have the flexibility of traveling ..I love the idea and yes if we are able to find a pet friendly hotel..they should have a room we can use for vendors etc and they may even know of some pet parks in the area of their hotel!! Anything I can do to help please count me in!!!!

Cool! I would like to try to come. Texas, or Midwest is my vote. Illinois, Indiana, Missouri. St. Louis is dog friendly.

Wow they give you 10 choices of doggie parks !! We should be able to work from that list!!! And I guess we would just need to try to pick one that is centrally located mile wise for everyone?? If that is possible of course!!

I think one central location would be better given the fact you are looking at a one year ahead planning time and it would allow everyone working on a committe to work together and not be split up by east/west..think more can be done with one central location vs two.
