| I felt very bad for them also. The person I got her from forwarded pictures of her to them as she grew up. She will be 4 in September and her and Bubba just love each other.

| Hi there, My new puppy, Bailey is a rescue from a puppy mill out west. My husband found this terrific woman that rescues small breed dogs right near where we live. She's absolutely wonderful !! Little Bailey was 10 weeks old when we brought him home. He is now 7 months old and 14 lbs ! He has recently developed seasonal allergies. If anyone has any experience in treating allergies, please let me know. He got a cortisone shot a few weeks ago and I'm supposed to start him on prednisone next month. Thanks |

| (RIP) Annie was from a no kill shelter in IL DJ and Harley both rescues . Zack and Zeke are also rescues. We've fostered a couple of times and are waiting for a 5 yr old yorkie girl foster to be released from the shelter to the rescue group.

| Our baby is a Rescue/Rehome. Oct. 15 will be one year since we got Toby. He was 2 in May. The first several months were pretty rocky. We had some issues as some of you may remember. He was badly socialized and I had no clue about what to do about his issues. We've been through Behavior 101 and 201 . He has become a super dog with lots of love and confidence building. I don't know what we'd do without him! |

| Please be very very careful in allowing your dog to be given any steriods for allergies. Our delightful Yorkie was given so many steriods by previous owner's vet that it effected her ability to produce insulin. Our dog is diabetic now because some lazy vet decided to shoot up the dog with way too many steriods. It is very easy to treat allergies without steriods. Go to the vet from the best vet school you can afford. Your GP should not attempt to treat allergies, you should not have a GP vet treat a specialty. See a professional so your dog is not overdrugged. |

| We brought Miracle into our home on June 30, a week later she had her puppies. We lost one but we have Rebel he was eight weeks yesterday. We found Miracle for her handler who was moving out of state and was not going to be able to take Miracle with him. They were actually trying to find homes for 3 yorkies and I would have taken them all but they found them homes, sadly they do not seem to be as good as homes as Miracle has. the other ones have been bounced around for the past few months but I think they are all good now. All of the babies were set up to euthanized because they could not find them homes. I just did not understand that part how could you NOT find a home for such beautiful babies. Miracle has become my little princess, and I think she knows it LOL.

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | We adopted a Yorkie from a local no kill organization a little over a year ago. She is 5 yrs old now and doing great, she has come a long way. She still has a few issues we are dealing with but everything is baby steps with her. She still doesn't get toys or play but she knows love. She was a breeder release and from what I understand the other dogs there didn't like her and would fight her. She is our only dog and does well with the cat now that she's no longer afraid of it. I would love to adopt another one, there are some coming available soon. But with this ones history of other dogs not liking her I am afraid to. We really love this little girl and have spoiled her. We don't want to do anything to make her unhappy or set her back in anyway. I don't have many photos in her album but what I have are to big to post here, so if you want to see more photos please check out in her album here on YT. ![]() PS. Every dog we had growing up was a stray or given to us. All my dogs have been rescues except a couple, I am a firm believer that everyone needs a good home no matter what.
