| Btw, At first I didn't think it was the same dog. At first glance. But when you really put the two together, I do think it's the same dog. One she is healthier, younger and cleaner in. The hair recession on the nose is pretty common with the type of coat she has, and it wouldn't have been present in her younger photos. But the markings match up and the color has just changed, as they all do. It's very likely that the three dogs in the photos you posted are in fact, the same dog. |

So wait... are you saying that it's perfectly acceptable to post puppy photos of a dog and say "this is what she looks like right now?" Because in the sale thread, that's what she did. She also misrepresented the dog's size. The pictures I posted were the same day I gave her a bath, after I blow dried her against the grain like I was told to do so her face would fluff up.

The seller took back the dog the first time, luckily for the first buyer, unfortunate for the dog, but probably easier for that buyer to do since I'm just guessing she was local. If you're willing to pay to ship her back, I hope the seller would be willing to refund you the initial purchasing amount with or without the cost of initial shipping included. Even if this means it's a pretty expensive lesson for you to learn, with or without the refund, that not all sellers are reliable and certainly, not all new or older YT members are trustworthy either. Anyone can become a member on here. Anyone can build up post count. Personally, I would feel uncomfortable letting the seller pocket my money no matter how large or small the amount. I would rather incur more expenses upon myself as a matter of principle. But since this concerns a life, I'd probably choose to turn the dog into hands more capable than mine to deal with the aggression issues whether it be a behaviorist--provided I am financially able--or a yorkie rescue group to either retrain and/or rehome accordingly. At the same time, I would also be unable to be as gracious as you are in withholding the name of the seller and I would post somewhere, anywhere, on various websites to warn others of the dishonesty of said seller/website whether they be on forums or blogs or what have you. I'd be really upset if I were in your position also. There are a few YT members I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a yorkie from, so I really hope this experience hasn't soured all of YT for you.

| I don't believe that the difference between the two is just one month, no. If that's what she said, there's no way I'd be sold on that. However, I would believe that that first photo is a shot of her at say, 8 months +. I'm not saying that she didn't misrepresent the dog visually. It's clear that she has. The dog doesn't match the photo as far as coat coverage goes and coloring/pigment. For this reason alone, plus size and terrible attitude, I think that a mistake was made on both of your parts and the dog given back to the original Seller.(as a breeder, I never would've sold to you with so much uncertainty...neither should she have. To be fair, you paid to get her there. She can pay to get her back and then also reimburse you. This is assuming that A: The dog truely was misrepresented by the Seller and B: You two did discuss at length her aggression issues and she led you to believe that the dog wasn't "that bad" or was certainly "managable"..... |

| Yes, some can, I've seen more females than males do it. Especially if they have Australian Terrier presented in their bloodline at some point. |

I do, however, hope you don't mind when I say I hope you will not turn her in to an animal shelter that would not give her a chance at living a normal life due to her aggression. Last edited by Miao; 03-25-2009 at 10:42 PM. Reason: correcting typos

I'd be willing to ship the dog back at MY expense, but I feel she should reimburse me what I sent her for the dog I spent $1110, but $1050 of that was the dog, vetting and shipping. However, when I approached her with this, this was the response I got (copied and pasted from the email): I am a very honest, good person. I go to church, pay for my one daughters asthma treatment with no insurance, donate most proceeds to special charity (special personal meaning for my family)-work with creditors on the house they forclosed on me last year because of a job loss, well the list goes on. I am not meaning to be "combative" I just have not had so many insults thrown at me since I was in my 20's and in a abusive relationship. This is not something I deal with well being as how I strive to have peace within my home. Then I find this: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...she-knows.html Nice to know my money got her a gorgeous dog!

I would never. If Jasmanea, will not take her back and work with me on the shipping charges, I will try to find proper placement for her and screen anyone interested carefully. She's a good dog. She just needs to be in a home without other dogs and small children.

Most certainly, the seller gets zero sympathy from me and I'm not even going to waste time weighing the truth in the content of the response given to you. I have seen certain other threads made by the same person in the Garage Sale section as well as requesting for breeder review/opinion for potential purchases, and so forth. And I see that "[they] can't stand paypal" so I guess I can't suggest to you to file a dispute there as you must have wired money or the cheque has cleared with the banks already. Perhaps it isn't too late for you to appeal to her "honest" and "good" side to get your refund. Otherwise, it just leaves you to move on with life as best you could.

| Yeah, unfortunately it looks like you got bent over on this one for sure. I really hope you can find a nice forever home for her. You're right, she needs a grown up family (no kids) and needs to be an only child...at least for now. Poor pup, and poor you too. You can't chance it with your kids either, that's the main thing. |

| No way is that the same dog. I'm fuming and I'm not the one in the situation. I agree that it's unlikely that you will receive your money back, she seems to have moved on. That poor baby though, it is sad to think of what she must of gone through in her life to have these behaviors. I hope there is some sort of happy ending for you all. |
