My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I just looked thru the posts and found all her other pictures and i think she looks the same. Flashes can really lighten them out. She looks scared in the above pics in the dirt/grass. but I seen the bath pics you posted and she is adorable I seen the seller posted she was aggressive towards one of her females. I hope things get better for everone! |

| I am a little confused? You paid $1,100 for an adult Yorkie that is a pet Was she a part of a breeding program and being rehomed? If she is from a breeder I thought that a good reputable breeder always took their own back if it didn't work out? Did you sign a contract? Did you meet in person or was this pup flown in to you? I am finding it very hard to believe that anyone would pay that amount of money for a full grown pet unless you were planning on breeding? There are all kinds or yorkies in shelters and rescues all the time that are full grown, her size, and surely not $1,100! I personally do not think that picture #1 looks anything like the other 2 pictures that you posted but really that doesn't mean a lot to me because unless you saw this dog in the first place before laying out that kind of money you really don't have a leg to stand on. But like I asked earlier~doesn't a breeder take back her dogs if it doesn't work out? Sounds like you have learned an hard and EXPENSIVE lesson. Another poster said to "get rid of her" but I am not quite sure what that means?

Yeah I know. That was my biggest apprehension. She needs a forever home. She does have some positive points. She is affectionate and she is housebroken. I mentioned that she needed to be the only baby based on my observation and she'd be a lot happier in a situation like that but my speculation wasn't a welcoming one. I was made to feel guilty because she's not working out in my home at all. It seems to me that she's competing and it's bringing out aggression in her. I just don't know what to do here. I feel so stuck. I can get over the fact that she doesn't look like the dog in the first picture. I can't get over the fact that she is almost 2lbs bigger than what was told to me and that she's got some peculiar aggression problems.

Your right. It was an expensive lesson and I don't think I'll ever trust anyone again.

| This may of been asked and I missed it but did she not offer you a return guarentee if things didnt work out? From what I have read on here the responsible people do that because they want to make sure there puppies are happy in their forever homes. Does she not have another puppy to replace this one with? They really do look like different dogs to me . And according to the growth charts that is a lot of weight to gain in one month. it really doesnt sound like anyone in your family is bonding with her and she needs to be taken back by the breeder and placed in a home with no other dogs. Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | does not look like the same dog to me either...the color is what got me...he appears to be darker in the last 2 pictures than the first...and even if taken by different cameras with different setting it should not be that much of a difference!

| Particularly if you look at the chest. It looks black in the second photo, but very light tan in the first one.

| Who on here did you get this dog from?!? I'm suprised he/she won't take the dog back and return at least part of your money. Dogs that are known to have certain aggression issues can't be expected to go to a new home and not possibly be returned. You two never discussed that potential aspect of this transaction? You could've found a low cost to no cost Yorkie and been better off it sounds like. Best of luck to you all. If you were in Illinois, I'd offer to stop by! |

| Yes and no. She's kinda offered a return option but it was under extreme protest. Our last correspondence stated how insulted she was that I would insinuate that she misrepresented the dog to me. However, she's insisted that I have to pay for shipping both ways and the vaccines she had done prior to sending her to me. I'd be willing to return her if she would reimburse me at least half the shipping. Many of you said it's the same dog and perhaps it was the lighting. I don't think so. None of my friends who have met the dog and saw the pictures think so. Even my vet didn't think so. If the lighting we that dramatically different ok. But she stated the dog was 5lbs, not 6.12. Coupled with the glamour shots, that's misrepresentation and I feel it's only fair that she does reimburse me. At the very least, I would be willing to keep the dog until she found suitable placement for her where I'm not throwing away $500 of my money shipping the dog around. I do think she needs to be a single dog so she doesn't have to compete for food and affection. She's a good girl, but she's never going to be happy in a situation like this.

| No way that's the same dog But, I feel sorry for the little girl, she needs a forever home. Don't some of those pro trainers like that dog whisperer or someone specialize in fixing these behavior problems? Maybe look into hiring one of them to help instead of shelling out the vet bills and worrying about your other family members? Might be worth a shot? I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with her. |
