| I was just screamed at for picking up poop I took my dogs for a walk this morning the 3 puppies were in their stroller and my 9 year old Maltese Casey was on a leash. When we got to the corner Casey did his business on the easement grass when I bent down to pick it up with my bag the lady that lived their start yelling at the top of her lungs HOW DARE I LET MY DOG SHI.. ON HER LAWN. I told her I was picking it up and she said she didn't care it still leaves a trace and now other dogs will want to go their and if my dogs had to crap to let them do it at my house and get out of their. Then said started screaming at me that she didn't want me to walk by her house again with my dogs to pick him up she didn't even want him on HER sidewalk. What was wrong with me to get the hell out of their and don't come back. She clearly is got a problem about dogs. The only reply I made was that I picked it up but I'm still shaking it upset me so bad. I went home on phone the police and they sent a car down their to tell her to shut up the dogs have the right if the people clean it up. I wouldn't have called if she didn't sound so hateful giving me warning not to come back that way again. |

| What the crap? No pun inteneded, of course. But, seriously? If you had just left the poop on her yard, then I could understand her frustration. But you picked it up! I mean, seriously. What's wrong with people? Even if I could understand her frustration, she has no reason to be that upset over it. Some people are just rude. I hope you're feeling better now! |

| Wow...I really can't believe she reacted that strongly. I can understand her not wanting dogs taking care of business in her yard, regardless to if you pick it up or not. This is where one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. Sure YOU may pick up after yours, but how many others come along that don't, ya know? (Even if it is an easement, she is probably still responsible for maintaining it.) Still, geez. Overreact much lady? Maybe next time just walk on the other side of the road. ! I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Wow, here you were a responsible pet owner, and she still gives you grief. I can't believe the police even came out, and I really feel sorry for that lady, she must be such a hateful person. I'm sorry you're feeling bad, you were doing something good for your babies, and it should have been an enjoyable walk. Sorry, this happened.

| Make sure to dance by her place each day, I don't think she "owns" the sidewalk. lol No, really sounds like someone that could be dangerous or take dangerous measures to keep dogs away. I would probably avoid her place just to save myself a headache. Sorry you were treated this way. Bet you have had 100 things run through your mind of what 'you should've said' huh? I always do. |

| Wow! Sounds like she needs some anger management. I find it hard to believe that you can keep EVERY dog in the world off your lawn. I think you did the right thing and obviously she is a very unhappy person to behave in such a manner. I think you did the right thing. Maybe the police will scare her into calming down a little. Wow, she needs a life. |

| Wow! That is terrible. I try to not let Jackson on peoples lawns just because... however, sometimes things happen and oops! there comes a poop. I always pick it up of course. I can't imagine if someone starting screaming at me. I would be upset too! That woman has obvious anger issues and really needs to find other things to worry about. I grew up in a neighborhood and our sidewalk was not owned by anyone specific, it was just the neighborhoods.

| Sorry you were the one to get yelled at. But you never know what she has experienced in the past. You might be one of the few responsible dog owners but lots of people are not and it's probably not a nice thing to pick up other people's dog poo, who knows how often she has to do that. And then you poor soul came along and she saw you and you got all her frustration thrown at. I would not stay away if this is your usual route but maybe stay on the other side. And if you see her again give her a smile and say "Hello". She is probably totally embarrassed by now.

| I know it sounds silly to called the police out but she was screaming very very loud and over reacting like a nut case and in this world you never know if a person is really crazy. I won't go that way again. I didn't see her she was screaming out the window but I bet the whole block heard her. |

| She's probably one of those bitter old women who don't change out of their cotton nightgowns and fuzzy slippers all day and sit at home reading Readers Digest, working crossword puzzles and yelling at the contestants on the Price is Right. She was probably jealous that someone else seemed to be enjoying themself! |

| I live in a sub and she has the corner house. Normally my husband walks Casey in the evening but it just such a pretty day I thought I'd take them all out. I was on the sidewalk with the stroller and Casey was on the grass by the street which here is city property which the homeowner has to maintain. Even policeman said I was in the right as long as I picked it up and he was going to tell her to shut up and advise her on the laws in this city. |
