Wow...I really can't believe she reacted that strongly. I can understand her not wanting dogs taking care of business in her yard, regardless to if you pick it up or not. This is where one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. Sure YOU may pick up after yours, but how many others come along that don't, ya know? (Even if it is an easement, she is probably still responsible for maintaining it.) Still, geez. Overreact much lady?

Maybe next time just walk on the other side of the road.
