| In our area, the sidewalks are our responsibility for maintaining. And, get this, if we don't maintain them (including repairs or snow and ice removal), and someone is using the sidewalk, and they hurt themselves, we can be held responsible. But we cannot tell someone they cannot use it. Not giving you any ideas, but you might want to know the sidewalk laws where you are incase you trip over a small piece of gravel not swept off.

| We live a couple hours from Gulf Shores, Alabama. Not too long ago a friend of mine was down there and saw a sign in someone's yard that said "Please do not let your dog sh i * on my lawn." She took a picture of it and posted it on facebook so we would believe her. Some people just hate dogs. I don't like pets of any sort that are not obedient. However, what else can you do besides clean up the poop? Nothing. I hope that lady got the message loud and clear from the police!

| That is to funny because my husband said the same thing about setting fire to a poop bag prank. He was only joking but it crossed his mind to. |

| I would think if there are leash laws where this happened...there would be something mentioned about picking up after your pet. You did pick up after your pet and I wouldn't give it another thought. If you would like to walk down that particular street then you should...if you'd like bring your hubby with you for an evening walk. Can't stand people like that when nothing wrong was done! |

As for the screaming woman/fool. There really is nothing she can do about you walking her dog as long as you clean up after. If she has a problem with a Yorkie pooping what would she say about a Great Dane! Maybe you should borrow one and see.

It may seem stupid but it is actually to protect neighbors from property damages. like for instance when our house was built in the 30s they built the garage 3 feet into the neighbors property so from then until about 5 years ago his land was valued and taxed for three feet he did not have. it may not seem like much but over the years it dose add up, not to mention when he built his shed hey gave him trouble about putting it essentially in the middle of his yard, when it is only about 2 feet from our garage
