Thanks so much for sharing that link. I listened to he talking about heart worms on YouTube and I found it very interesting. It makes a lot of sense to me.

You got that right. He is controversial.
He has some interesting things to say, but I just have to shake my head at some of it b/c it is not what research shows...

Does anyone have a link to the current AAHA Guidelines? All I can find are the 2006 guidelines.

sometimes gf when people are upset about something they spill the beans and i think he is spilling the beans my friend lol. In corporate america we call it the WHISTLE BLOWER LAW.

It definitely makes you think about some things though doesn't it and he is a VET so i think he sees the research

I was reading where they had updated it in 2009, but I don't see a update so perhaps 2006 is the most recent.

I think that's what it looks like he's doing (and to an extent he is right), but some of what he is saying is down right scary. Like the info on heartworms and slow kill...it's not as great or easy as he makes it sound; but to each their own I suppose.

how about the part where they keep the pets overnight and no one is there ? That always KILLS me as mine never had to be left over for spay and neuter?

I strongly disagree with the practice and think it can be terribly dangerous in a lot of cases. However, I don't think somebody needs to write a book to expose this. Hey, I could write a book about that and make the money off of it. lol
