| Calm Eyes Ingredients Again thank you for the wonderful response to Calm Eyes. We are so happy to help with your Yorkies health needs. Many of you have been asking what is in the product. Although we do not list ingredients on the website, the ingredrients are listed on the bottle itself & are as follows: Natural Eyebright Herb (which someone described very well in detail earlier, thank you), & distilled water. There is a tiny tiny bit of preservatives to help prolong the shelf life. If anyone has any questions, please let me know at andrea@calmcoat.com. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Hello everyone.. all i can say that i am VERY happy with calm eyes and calm ears.. I been using calm eyes for my Harry boys eyes since my holistic Vet recomended it.. and she is VERY careful on the products she recomends. Now, all I can say is that every product is NOT for every dog or person, so be cautious and yes, I DID research the ingredients before I bought it, I think I posted them in the other thread, what I found, with that said, you can never be too careful so research is good. I applaud those of you that question every dot on the ingredients, but I do beleive in the experts too.. I do take my pups to the regular vet and then to the holistic one, YES I am a wierd puppy mama... the people at calm eyes are very nice and knowledable about their products. hugs, cArmen in nj who will think twice about recomending anything from now on.. |

No Longer a Member | The dogs ar dying from some irresponsible ingredients that companies buy from china to put in dog food...China is the culprit..Just like the leaded toys pulled off the market..So thoughs are the research u should be doing...Not companies that have been in the market place for years and have produced Good products to make our pets comfortable.. Look there are alot of people on this forum that is way far left and there are some that are way far right.. Just get a chemistry degree and then u cansay that u are doing research on labels..PPPPlease...This is rediculous...Give me a break...Carmen in NJ...Ignor all of that... There are Some on here that know it ALL...And don't really KNOw ANY THING....So just put your 2 cents in if u want and for get about it....Some are just Over KIll on this subject...Don't take it personally ..I've learned that since I've been on here. Some don';t have any thing else to do but critized others NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY... The thing about those critics they are just wanting to argue. I say say what u want to but don't start pulling and qouting what others say...When most of u that do that are just plain silly... |

Nobody should be criticized here and if it was a personal attack in a PM, you can report it to admin and it will be taken care of.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I don't think there is such a thing as overkill when you are putting something in the eyes. When some of you talk of experts, did you know that any of you could make a product and sell it as an eyewash? There aren’t many regulations for herbal ingredients. There are lots of products recommended and sold that are plain old hogwash. I asked the question "has anyone used the product, and it actually cleared the eyes?" Carmen in nj is the one who recommended it and the only one who had ever used it before. Several rushed out and bought it, and reported eyes were much better in a day or so, but there is something in science know as the "placebo effect", and people are so excited about a new product they see an improvement when there is none. After more time has passed they may realize the product isn't effective, but are too embarrassed to speak up. No one but carmen in nj said that their dogs eye were now clear. When I buy a product I'm looking at two factors – safety and effectiveness. A product should pass both tests. There's no reason to get defensive when someone is questioning either of these factors. Carmen in nj, no one is criticizing you by wanting this information, Joey recently had a problem with brown eye gunk after a food switch, and I believed it may be related to his food, so I was interested in learning how this particular product was said to have worked, especially Eyebright herb, as I'd never heard of it before. I hope this thread stays on a positive note, and those members who purchased it report their results after using it over a period of weeks. I agree with Ellie May report nasty PM's to admin, and don't give you e-mail address out. I appreciate learning about products that people think are great.

| I started this thread and I have to say thank you to both people who recommended products for my problem with the eye gunk. Please remember to read posts as they are and not take them to other levels, it is easy to misinterpret information and tone of messages. Use what you feel is relevant to you and ignore the rest as you choose too. I appreciate the Calm Eyes and the Genteal recommendations. I bought the equivalent to Genteal but everytime I go to use it on Snick, he ruuuuuuuuuns hahaha. I might try the calm eyes. THANKS AGAIN!!!

No Longer a Member | What everrr..Over kill is something to put in the eyes of a puppy to get comfort...Come on people...If it is a herbal ingredient then it most certainly won't hurt a pet.. Now if it is your human child Yes research...But how many pets have been harmed by herbal ingredience to go in there eyes...Herbal ingredience is just that... Research the value of the chemistry of herbs if you want to research something...Yes its over kill.....To each there on...We will just have to agree to disagree..But some of u that do all this research ( so called research) Are only researching the benefit for ur dog and the pro and cons and the feedback of the products rating...But not the remedy itself.. So don't even go there with me... So Silly. grow Up |

| Carmen in NJ thanks for recommending this product. How long have you been using Calm Eyes on your furbaby? Also anyone else who purchased it and have used it for for over 6 months, I would really appreciate feedback on it. My furbabies have eye gunks as well and I've been just cleaning with a warm wash cloth, but it doesn't really help with the tear stain. Thanks!

I'm totally shocked at some of the posts on this thread. I, for one, am thankful to everyone and anyone who takes the time to educate about *anything* on YT. I learn here every day. To criticize members who are trying to be helpful and trying to protect animals is just polar to what this forum is all about. Thanks to Nancy and so many others who always try to help.

And 2) Dogs and other animals die every day due to veterinarian, food company, and other "PROFESSIONAL'S" mistakes and lack of knowledge. And 3) Let's not be so ignorant. Everyone gets to choose their own method of doing things. You are not anymore right that we are and I think name calling is out of line. | |
