| I am so sorry to hear about Molly. It angers me to hear that the vet wouldn't even try to help. I know there are laws that state you can't refuse a sick human care. We need laws that do the same for our furbabies. That vet never gave her a chance. Horrible. Molly R.I.P.

| I'm so sorry that you've lost her like this. But have to say that I'm absolutely appalled at the vet. Over here he would be struck off for refusing to treat an animal in such need, just because you couldn't pay upfront. I've never known a vet in England even ask if you're able to pay before treating an animal. They tend to the animal then you sort out payment afterwards. If you can't pay there & then, you get a bill. Think his behaviour is a disgrace, perhaps you have different rules in the States. xx Meggie |

| This really breaks my heart. I am so sorry for your loss. But I would have been so frantic that I would have driven an hour or more to get my dog to a loving vet. And sounds like you have more yorkies, what if they get sick too since that vet did not one thing to help where will you turn to? You must start looking for a vet that will help you, in case others get ill . Molly God bless your soul. May you be in be in peace little one. |

| While it's easy to say what you might have done in this situation...I think right now the best thing is to offer our condolences...anything else would be bordering on insensitive. Molly...

| We sure need good vets!! Quote:
He had been my vet for 23 years but thanks to his wife that runs the office, I've changed vets. It's all about the money, where did the compassion go for our little ones. It was horrible to find out just how things were working in his office. Over the years, I referred many clients to him. He's the best Guy but I'm sure he's not aware of what his wife is doing behind his back. I'm waiting to find just the right words to say to him without hurting him. I'll write him a personal letter just to let him know how hurt I was when Punken needed help.... In the meantime, the girls needed their shots and their was a shot clinic at the park. I took them and here was my original vet that I had years ago. My ex-husband didn't like him and had to change vets. He still remembered me and I told him what had happened in my life. He gave the girls their shots and checked them and said, you come see me, I'll make sure they are taken care of.... I need to call him but I'm not one to except charity. I'm still trying to work this one out in my mind. I'm so sad to see this happen to someone and to lose their love one because of the almighty dollar. I probably shouldn't haven't written this in this thread but it really upset me to think, Molly had to suffer becasue of the cost. God Bless You and Molly | |

| Oh dear..I was hoping for much better news when I checked in tonight. I am so sorry you lost your little girl. RIP Molly. I am sickened to know that a licensed vet turned her away as she was dying. He/she couldn't even help her to cross in a humane manner? Unbelieveable and heartbreaking!!
