| Is there any way she got ahold of poison? Yes...please force syringe her fluids with karo mixed in to keep her sugar up. Nutri-stat will also help keep her going as she tries to fight through this. My heart breaks for you!! Please don't give up on her!!

| Praying for you and Molly. Hold on sweetie. The girls have given some good advice. Not sure if this would help right now but I have before in the past taken my dogs with emergencies in and told the vets office do whatever you can do if I had the money or not and then I set out making any and all phone calls I can or trying to figure out how I was going to pay. I never tell them up front I can't pay because I am not going to give them the option of not helping. The money has always figured itself out one way or the other and my babies got the help they needed. Hubby and I just discussed this recently as we are not as well off as we were some time back and we needed to figure out how we were going to make sure there was money for emergencies and vets as needed. We have decided that we would instead of getting insurance for them, take about 100 per month and buy an AMEX gift card and keep them put away so they would be available for the vet when we need them. I wonder if you could get it into her with the dropper if something like the liver water could help her as well as the pedialyte?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am so sorry. Can the vet at least give you some antibiotics, they are not expensive. How horrible that he would not treat her at least with some SQ fluids and an antibiotic, That usually runs less than 100.00. I will keep her in my prayers.

| Was just thinking and I had a puppy with parvo once that I just couldn't afford to treat and I made every phone call to any and all animal people I could until I found a bird rescue of all things who's owner was willing to help. We picked up the puppy from the night time ER and were supposed to take her to our own vet so they left in her IV. Instead we took her home with the help of the bird rescue kept her on fluids and gave her antibiotics. She pulled through and did well. Please just do everything you can, make calls to everyone and anyone who will listen. There are good people out there willing to help.

| How did she get ahold of tainted meat? I dind it hard to believe that the vet would not even put her down. it sounds more like a poison to me than just tainted meat. Dogs eat dead things all the time and don't even get sick. Could she have gotten some antifreeze? |

| Several years ago on a fourth of July weekend we took out a large family size pack of chicken and then had to leave home suddenly for about 3 days for a family emergency. When we got home we realized we left it on the counter and double bagged it and trew it in the trash by the road which was outside of our fence. Somehow she got out of the fence, chewed through the bag and ate a lot of the rancid chicken which had now sat not only the 3 days on the counter but another day in the summer heat. By the next day she was extrememly sick and long story short, 6 days hospitalization, 2 seperate phone calls from the doc saying he thought he would lose her and about 1500 later. She did make it but it was the chicken that made her so sick she spent 6 days beyond sick and we almost lost her. She was a Shelty. Thinking of Molly tonight...

| Molly is not suffering anymore. She is gone to heaven to be with my Mom. I wish to thank you all for your support and will see every one soon with up dates on the other six children. May Molly rest in peace and make every one in Heaven as Happy and blessed as she has made my life for the short time she was with me.
