| This is a sad thing to have happen and I know how you are hurting. I have a friend that has a dog boarding and training business in Alabama and asked him what would be a solution should any of your other little family need help. This is his reply-- That's a tough one Rich. She might try calling The Ark in Millbrook, Alabama 334.285.4210. I don't think they'll do work without payment but they may setup a payment plan. The next best option would be Tuskeegee University's Vet School or Auburn University's Vet School. Any of the three options are quite a distance from Geneva which is in the middle of nowhere and extremely rural. My prayers are with you. Richard Armada, Mi |

| maybe the girl is a bit scared to, after some posts. and maybe the girl has a BIGGER HEART THAN MONEY , i feel thats what happens, people who love animals and rescue them dont think off the vets fees at the time, but just want to love the animal, if the op has so many other dogs then i imagine they cud be rescue, jmo,, i myself saved lives and never at the time thought about vets bills, i cud go on and on saving lives but dont have the room, i know its probably wrong if i cant afford for illness, but if every person thatwas to think about vet fees when rescuing, then i believe that there wud be more dogs that ever in the rescue centers. jmo, happy new year to every one, i hope u can understand what i mean,,,,, lol

| Many years ago I had a 3 month old mutt dog that broke her leg, (right at the growth plate near the knee). My vet was not able to treat her with the type of surgery she needed so he referred me to another local vet that does that type of surgery. My vet sent him her x-rays, they called me and said I would have to pay $1000.00 up front and sign a payment plan for the rest. I was a single mom at the time and had just bought my house after my divorce. I told them that I could not afford this and they said to have my vet amputate the leg. My vet would not do this willingly and referred me to Angle Memorial in Boston and they helped me. About half the cost and payment plan. They were wonderful.

This is the American Veterinary Medical Associations Code of Ethics... There is lots of good information on this site as far as veterinary patient rights. I would higly suggest that every pet owner familiarize themselves with the Professional Behaviors Sections. That aside, I am sorry for your loss and would like to say that it disgusts me knowing that this has happened. Trevor

| A dog just passed away, that was obviously a loving pet. Let's just show some support and question her later. I myself know that when my girl was sick and I was home alone, it was very scary for me. So big deal she was on the internet? She has noone else around her that could of came and kept her sane during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and may Molly RIP. |

and especially since the other dogs are not sick as hge is not contagious but parvo is - i feel so bad but knowing how much i have spent in vet bills just went this week another $200 seems i cannot get out under $200-300 just do not know how people do it that are struggling and these last two times were only to test for uti and to test fecal culture which is not even that costly usually

| I just lost my Lexie and was with her in the surgery room trying to talk to her and let her know I was there while the vets worked on bringing her back. At least our babies knew we were with them in their last moments. |
