| sugar sugar sugar! Just watch your sugar intake! Read labels, bc sugar is in everything... you want to stick with the products with the least amount of sugar, or no sugar if possible. Soda is a killer! And do you know that 1 teaspoon of sugar in 1 cup of coffee a day is 10lbs a year??? You want natural sugar (fruits, dairy) vs refined sugar (in cake, cookies, candy) You can do this! Its a good amount for that time frame and totally doable!!! Good Luck!!

| I have a diet used at the Birmingham AL cardiac unit for patients who need to lose lots of weight in a hurry before having heart surgery. This is a 3 day diet only and you could lose up to 10 pounds depending on your body's reaction. But you must finish the 3 days and you can do this once a month. the rest just don't overeat. Let me know and I can e-mail it to you. Got a hot date in 5 months This diet works on a chemical breakdown and is proven. I tried it once but only for 2 day and lost 3 pounds. | reading! here are a few books for you that aren't "fads." i am not using any sort of pill or supplements Lean Body Challenge Author: Lee Labrada Find it: Ebay, Amazon Program: 12 week "challenge." Description: a healthier eating plan and work out plan that you can do some of at home. My Dates: Feb 07-Memorial Day 07 (about 12 wks) My Results: i had the book for 2 months before i started using it. i can tell the difference in my strength, stamina, and definately my appearance. i had a hard time on cardio day, but since it was only for 26 minutes i did it. this book makes you look at yourself and go, "i can do that!!" i highly recommend. ps--i didn't use his recipes and haven't taken my 12 week pics yet (i do have my 2 and 6 week pics posted on my myspace. *energy consultant national accounts* 9 Weeks To A Cellulite Free Butt (or something like that) Author: Tosca Reno (advisor to Oxyagen Magazine readers) Find it: Ebay, Amazon (about same price on both) Program: 9 weeks of butt and upper thigh exercises with a "Clean Eating" plan Description: same as above and has some delicious recipes, too!! My dates: i started in June, but have had alot of family visits, but the eating i have been doing consistently with some splurging. My Results: omg my butt looks amazing and all i'm doing is eating way healthier!! i can't wait to start incorporating the exercises. i think about how 80% of how i look is what i eat and am seriously putting it into practice. another high recommend The Clean Eating Diet Author: Tosca Reno Find it: Amazon has better prices Description: info on eating "clean" and a great list of yummy recipes My Dates: ongoing from beginning of July My Results: this is a more detailed description and guide to clean eating. also a kids chapter that helps you talk to your kids about food. i'm very impressed with how she lays it out and gets you thinking. since i've started reading these books, especially the Tosca books i don't eat nearly as many sweet things or anywhere close to the amout of fried things. i have now been able to say, "no thanks" to CHIC-FIL-A and taco bell. i'm enjoying simple things like eating fruit salad with nuts and having my son pay attention to what he's putting in his mouth also (at 7 it's a dang miracle). you can also add some of the 9wk butt moves into your lean body challenge. and you know, at first i was worried about people staring at me in the gym. but now, i don't care. i know why i'm there and they are there for the same reason. | I'm 155, 18 years old. Main reason why I am around the 50's-60's is because of my damn BOOTY that my mother/grandma passed along. What I do is; Eat healthy--lots of veggies.... avoid fast foods, run.... and I do sit-ups at home & run outside. |

| I've been doing Weight Watchers. I really like it, and when i was on it before, without even working out I lost 15 lbs in a month and a half. It's flexible and pretty easy to understand.. you just look up your points, write them down daily and you get 35 FLEX points on top of your daily points. You can use them a little each day or once a week for a big meal out. Or there's a new CORE program where you don't count points, you just eat only the core foods Good luck! |

| WEIGHT WATCHERS! It really does work because it doesn't force you to stop eating the foods you love. Back in 2003, when I was a senior in high school, I weighed 170 pounds, bearing in mind I am only 5'3. I joined WW in Jan. 03 and also started going ot the gym and training with a personal trainer once a week for 10 weeks, by April I had lost 35-40 pounds. I continued following WW a little less strict when I went to college and ended up losing an additional 10. 4 years later, I am still 5 pounds lighter than I was when I stopped WW in April 03. |

| Exercise is the key. (not what we want to hear!) My Dr told me to walk 2 miles every day. He said, you dont have to go fast, just go. It helps build muscle tone which burns fat! Has anyone tried that new OTC pill?

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Try not to put too much salt on food cause it holds water inside you and that prevents you from losing weight

My furkids Donating Member | I lost 67lbs on the "dietworksho diet" They mostly watch fats. If should stay under 29 grams of fat a day, eat between 1200 and 1400 calories...It took me a year to take this weight off but, I had also quit smoking at the same time. I lost this weight about 11 yrs ago. I have since put half of it back on... HOWEVER, I had lost more weight than I had to leaving me not looking well. People were constantly asking me if I was sick. I gradually gained back (like I said) half of the weight (got remarried and am happy now) I am now starting to lose again( I am shooting for 20-25 lbs)...this time I am eating everything (watching the fat intake though) but just cutting it in half this way I am still eating what I want just not as much and it's working!! Good Luck to you! I KNOW how difficult and frustrating this can be but don't give up! You CAN do it!
