| Rover vs Biker Did anyone else hear about this news or following? I rarely follow news like this but I seem to be oddly drawn to it. Maybe it's because I've had a similar experience. Not even close to the degree of this incident.. But I was really scared. |

| And the driver had his wife and small child in the SUV with him. No doubt the child was screaming in fear of all those large motorcycles roaring right around him - he's only a toddler - plus he had the wife to also protect from that whole gang in his mind, no doubt. That one biker obviously set the rear=end accident up when he suddenly slowed down to a stop so deliberately in front of the SUV. I would have been absolutely petrified that that was a set up to slow me down so they could break in my car and I'd simply have snapped and floored it and whoever was in the way - too bad. Shouldn't have been terrorizing that family that way and grouping all around terrorizing people. As I understand it, the rules say they have all stay in one lane when they ride in large groups like that, not taking up the whole dang freeway and provoking other folks who need to use the road. And then they did actually pull the driver out and beat him. I'll bet his wife and little kid were terrified beyond belief that they would see him die and then they'd come after them. Just awful. Bet the little toddler is still having nightmares. I hope NYPD gets every last one of those thugs.

| IT IS terrifying! My incident was only with 7 bikers and I was really scared so I can imagine how horrible it was for them. I feel bad for the kids the most. On both sides... I saw a clip where one of the biker that was actually there was blaming the Rover driver saying how he walked out with bruises and cuts, etc.. while his buddies got broken bones, medically induced coma, and probably would never walk again. |

| Not sure how much you heard/read but if the "news reports" and "police reports" are correct, after the first bump, they all stopped. The Rover took off b/c some of the bikers were bashing his car and one slashed his tires... And I'm assuming you haven't seen any of their other videos. The original guy that posted it took it down but too late b/c pretty much half the population already saw it. One video showed how those guys were pretty much terrorizing another car. A prius that looked like it was just going on its way b/c the traffic light was green. You see a biker reaching inside the car and quickly retracts b/c the window is being closed. They drive on oncoming traffic lanes, sidewalks, in medians, run red lights, and pretty much every traffic violations you can think of. I'm more surprised they didn't hurt anyone else. |

| I sure hope the NYCPD does not cave in to pressure from the protests from the bikers friends they are now demanding justice for the biker that was hurt, crazy since he was part of the group trying to harm the driver. That poor family I am sure they were scared out their wits, unfortunately there will probably be civil suit and some slime lawyer will accept the case. Perhaps the driver can sue first. My husband and I could have been in a similar situation, we got lost leaving the Myrtle Beach airport this past Memorial Day weekend. We found ourselves in the middle of a pack of bikers just like the ones in video, there were 100's of them driving down the main street with no helmets, speeding and weaving like crazy, looking all directions to keep up with their friends, cutting in front of us. It was scary but we just got the heck off that street as soon as we could. Luckily we were not staying in MBeach for the weekend, because it turns out it was Urban Bike week there and even though just like in NY the people and the police did not want them they came anyway. We heard later on there were several accidents and I believe some deaths.

| yep the family hired an attorney, a well known one to boot. The family issued a statement on Wednesday night asking for privacy and announcing it had hired Gloria Allred, a media-savvy Los Angeles lawyer who usually specializes in women rights and sexual harassment cases.

| Donna, that's a frightening close call. What if they'd seen you, your blonde hair and decided to pick on your all?!?!?! That could have been terrible, ended very badly! Glad you all could get off and get away before anything happened. Allred will take almost any case that gets her vast media attention. But every single person except that biker's friends/family/followers seem to be siding with the beaten SUV driver and his family. I think anyone placed in that situation in their vehicle would have feared for the lives of their wife and child and their own, because once they dispatched him, that woman and child didn't stand a chance if that gang wanted them. I'll bet the wife thought her poor husband was a goner and that poor little child is likely going to fear highways, loud roaring engines and big, scary men in helmets for the rest of his childhood. Poor little kid's probably a wreck. Hope they can get someone to help him and them through this trauma.

| I remember one time... my mom got into a fight with one guy during a neighborhood meeting of sort. He grabbed her hair.. I was 4 years old but I still remember that particular scene clearly to this day. I randomly have flashbacks and it STILL upsets me. DBlain: I'm so glad you and your husband didn't get hurt or have any further altercation with those bikers. I hope you (and everyone else) would never have to go through something like that. Yorkietalkjilly: I find it bit ironic the bikers/family/friends call Jay Meezee (the one that's paralyzed) a "victim" when: 1. He shouldn't have been driving in the first place since he wasn't even allowed to have a license till 2017. 2. By his own choice, he participated in an ILLEGAL event. 3. They claim that he was just trying to help his buddy (Cruz) that fell off the bike when he got hit. Cruz's lawyer made a statement that he got bumped, got off the bike to walk over to the driver to go through "proper procedure" for an accident (that itself was so laughable). It sounded like he didn't even fall to the ground. I understand the family asking for prayers for his recovery. He's still their son/husband/family/friends no matter what he may/may not have done. I think the general public got more angry b/c the mom/wife/aunt is calling Meezee a "victim", "innocent bystandard". There are ppl donating money to help support Meezee. There are ppl donating to show support for Lien as well. Funny thing is, I don't think Meezee deserves the donations and Lien is rich already so I don't think he needs it. I actually wished the money would go towards animal shelters and rescue organizations... I know.. I'm probably being insensitive and not very nice... There are many times where I prefer pup/cat/any pet company over humans... |

| Look. Looks like he's not been the most responsible driver on the road if this report is right. Only a matter of time looks like before he ran into trouble. I pray he regains his health, full function. Biker injured in NYC road-rage incident recently arrested in Mass. - CBS News

| Lucky these people did not pull this krappe in a "right to carry" State....I can only imagine if they had thought PERHAPS the occupants of that vehicle they were terrorizing MAY have had a CCL, they may not have been so brazen about the way they attacked and terrorized that family. It would take a mindless idiot to pull that stunt in Texas......I can NOT even begin to imagine how frightened those people were.....I hope the family sues the instigators of that biker mob for psychological damage/PTSD that the toddler has probably suffered and will require professional help for a very long time..... I'm actually considering getting a CCL and all for "right to carry". I just don't think in this particular case, adding gun to the mix would have a better outcome. | |
