Donating YT 1000 Club Member | My husband & I have gone on several organized rides. Toys for Tots here in Florida is huge! Sometimes, there's actually a few officers that will "escort". Typically those rides are kept off of interstates. I have no idea how things are done in other states but it would seem safer for the bikes to all stay in the left lane to me. Here's a link that explains Motorcycle Parade safety: All Things (Safety Oriented) Motorcycle - Group Riding Guidelines

| Yeah, if the bikers are going fast than the left lane is best but when they slow down, they need to move to the right lane but that biker in the video was slowing way, way down in the middle lane, provoking being hit by that SUV. He even looked back to monitor how fast he could safely slow down so as not to get completely run over! Bet he nearly died when he realized there was video of what he did! Swarming a single car like those NYC bikers were doing is one of the scariest things on the road, I would think. I hope I never get involved in one of those.
