Here's something I have wondering about.

George & Cindy have been on disability since she was found and Casey was arrested.
So now, that Casey is as free as a bird, does the system continue to keep the parents? I don't see how they qualified in the first place, but that's just me.

Guess, they had better start really sucking up to their daughter now Considering she will be rolling in major bucks for killing her child

Really? They are both receiving disability, and it only started after this? Disability for what? I don't understand.

I know...they have been on disability for the last three years. Not sure how they pulled that off. That is a good question...are they going to be allowed to just keep it going?? Of course I am SURE that Cindy will be one of the first to share her story. She (unlike most of the jurors) took notes like crazy during the trial. Most were speculating that she was taking notes for a book. We'll see soon enough I suppose.

And yes, I think Cindy will suck up to her daughter BIG time (even more than she has been.) Her father will not...but if he and Cindy stay together, what can he really do about it? Cindy and Casey rule the roost...mostly Casey, and Casey will really be the one in power now.

Keep in mind, that she has not allowed her parents to visit her for the last 2 years in jail. They have tried repeatedly, but she wouldn't allow it. I think it was all part of the plan to frame her parents...so she and Baez decided that it would be best to not have any more visits recorded that could be used against her.

I'm 99.9% sure that they both receive disability....I have heard for sure that Cindy does. I guess the reason would be "mental anguish"????

I just did a search and from what I can see, Cindy receives disabilty. I didn't see anything about George. He had just started a new job back in June of 2008, so he may not have qualified for it. Cindy had worked for her Gentiva (one of the largest nursing management companies in the US) for several months I believe.

Can Casey now be subjected to a civil suit for wrongful death like OJ was? I also thought I heard the state had already filed suit against her for reimbursement for the search party now that she's been found guilty of lying, and there was another suit filed shortly after her verdict came in related to investigation but I don't remember what it was. I just don't think her legal battles are over yet.

Wrongful death would probably be difficult, who would file it, there is no father on record, the grandparents aren't likely to do it. You're right, her legal battles aren't over, and the lady she accused of kidnapping Caylee (Zanny the Nanny aka Zenaida Gonzalez), is suing her in a civil suit. I pity anyone who's in her life or who cares about her.

On a sidenote Casey was offered several porn contracts, but the offer was withdrawn by L.A.'s Vivid Entertainment. Vivid chief Steven Hirsch seemed to speak for America when he stated:

It has become obvious to us that Vivid fans, and people in general, want nothing to do with her and that includes a XXX movie. We want to make movies that people want to watch and we now believe that we underestimated the emotional response that people are having to the verdict. A movie starring Casey Anthony is not what people want to see.

Bottom line is I don't want to see her in anything ever again!

OJ was sued by the parents of his victim, Nicole, as I recall for the loss of their daughter's affection and benefits - not sure of the legal terms but sued for the loss of all they had the right to expect from a daughter over the years and were able to put a monetary assessment on it somehow. There is no one to sue Casey over little Caylee. I am not sure her grandparents, even if they wanted to, have the same legal standing as parents do. I know that Zenaida Gonzales(?spelling?) has sued her. I think the State of Florida will be recouping costs of investigation/searching and the man whose company searched for Caylee is considering it, but not sure he has standing to sue. Whatever the case, she will just have her lawyers handle it and take the money out of media/book/magazine proceeds. If they can't settle, she might have to do a depo or something but am sure it will be no big thing to her now.

Vivid also supposedly offered octomom a porn contract. They do t seem to care who they're associated with, but good to see they realize no one wants to see Casey getting screwed.

Personally, I would have preferred to see her screwed over in court!!
