| Casey Anthony Trial So......what are YorkieTalkers believing about this trial and the prosecution and the defense? What are your ideas about the case?

| Great idea to start this thread! I'd love to hear what everyone is thinking. I was following the pretrial stuff. They're saying the defense is probably going to say it was an accidental death. I don't know how a mother cannot report her missing child for 31 days! If I couldn't find my dog immediately I would be knocking on every door to find her! |

| Even if the death was accidental what she put the police and all the searchers through and all the coverups was really disturbing. What also bothered me were the pictures of her partying that were taken after the baby was missing and now we know actually dead. I really wonder how she could act normal I would have been so haunted. I agree with gidget529 I would have been searching immediately. So many things in this story do not add up. God bless that poor baby girl.

| She's a goner and needs to be. There is nothing that the defense can do for her at this point imo.

| Totally bizarre case! I think the mom is guilty for sure. It makes me soooo sad to think someone could do that to their own child, or even any child.

| This is just the defense opening statements trying to get a verdict of not guilty. They are saying they can prove it was just a tragic accident. Drowned in the Anthony family pool. George and Casey were home and found her. Saying it snowballed from that point.

| Kind of late for that nonsense. The jury will never buy it....just wait until the prosecution presents the evidence.

| That's insane! If she drown in the pool why not call 911? Of course it would snowball is you hid a death for a month! That mother of her's is a total nut too!

| Guilty as sin! That's what I believe. Her daughter is missing, she doesn't contact the authorities, she parties with friends still, supposedly tells a jailmate she used chloroform to put child to sleep on nights she went out. Something smells rotten in Denmark and I hope Casey Anthony gets back ten fold what she did to her poor little girl.

| I'm wondering if these grandparents so want to support their daughter that they will have George agree to say he was an abuser on the stand to try to save her life! Her parents seemingly enabled her in so many ways and put up with so much, you wonder if they are going to continue to always help her out?
