| This thread is very interesting to me. I live on Cape Cod so I would know nothing about wild hogs! I have friends in Maine that get Moose every year, they apply for a permit and get to take one per permit I think. We do have coyotes....which scare the XXXX out of me! We also this year have shark patrol boats because they have already spotted them to close to shore. I guess I am pretty lucky compared to some of you. p.s glad you stayed here

| I am 100% country girl. As a teenager I used to hunt rabbits. I only went deer hunting once and I did not shoot anything. Now that I am older and wiser I have no desire to shoot a deer but I would have no problem eating venison, rabbit or squirrel. I like alligator too but I have not had any in a long time. When I lived in Spring, Texas, I used to always get fried alligator at the annual Crawfish Festival. I have had wild hog one time and it was just okay. I love fishing, preferably saltwater. I have not been fishing in years but I hope that changes next year. |

| Nope not a hog hunter but I am an avid hog eater! I wouldn't kill an animal to eat it but I'll eat it if it's dead already! My dad had cattle he raised to eat but i could not eat them myself because i knew them personaly! My feeling is that if you eat/use what you hunt ok, but if you just kill it to hang it's head on the wall that is not cool. Just my opinion tho! Myself, i would feel guilty killing an animal as i feel guilt ridden when i kill a spider! I try to shoo them out but if they won't go...well splat!!!
