No, you really can't get a baby hog and raise it as a pot bellied Pig. They can get up to 400+ pounds grow long tusks, and are mean. They will attack if they feel threatened. I can tell stories of just how tough they are, but it might be too much for the squeemish. | |

| I've done some deep sea fishing. Never any hunting. Now I'm a member of NRA, but hate guns, go figure. Now Steve, You need to contact the Beverly Hills Animal Control. The City is having a real problem with Coyotes hanging out at the Country Club and prying on pets during the dusk and early morning hours. I really do believe they can use your services.

| Ok now I think I need to correct myself it was a Cougar that was wondering around the city of Chicago~downtown Chicago. They were talking about this thing for weeks and it was spotted all over in the suburbs and it was turning into kind of a joke. Until the Chicago police cornered it in someone's backyard and shot it. No they are not native to IL unless of course we are talking Cougars that prowl the downtown bars~my son has one after him~she's his FB stalker.

And, they are HUGE! Scary looking things...we can see them roaming the streets in the early morning ... actually not too far from where I live. Thankfully, they have not come to my neighborhood yet.

They are also a problem on the roads. I drove to Corpus a couple of years ago and saw dead hogs along the road...Heaven only knows what happened to the cars that hit them. I would so not want to walk out and find one in my yard.

| Steve, you come visit this fall/winter. My H would LOVE to have help getting the hog population under control at the ranch. I am of no help, I used to hunt for food as a poor Alaskan girl growing up, but now I am a non meat eater so I don't partake in the hunting, and I get a great tan while my husband fishes . But there are HUGE hogs here in South Texas, Hogzilla can eat protein from a feeder just like a deer, he's HUGE! Come see him, and take him home with you . Do you bow hunt?

| I almost ran over a HUGE Dead Bor that a car or a truck killed. It was as big as the car I was driving. They are vicious. You better be careful. I am not a meat eater. I only eat fish. |

| Oh snap! So true, I live in Corpus Christi, fattest city in America according to Men's health! But a little trivia for you.... if you cut Alaska in half Texas would be the 3rd largest state. AK rules!
