Its sad when we get a whole litter in a trap and have to kill them all but if we dont they grow and have more. I just wish there was more we could do with the meat. At this point we just kill them and bury them. East Texas is looking into a birth control for them but it has problems. We have the teens come and do hog hunts and they will kill a few but never enough to solve the problem.
Totally understand what you are saying, and it is happening more and more. I did not believe it until I saw the damage that they can do, and how they root up. You ever eat one under 100 pounds? I still don't care for the taste, but many people do. Here at our Local Cabella's, they sell Hog Meat for $16 a pound. Maybe I should rent a refidgerated truck!
