I have only had squirrel once and that was many many years ago. I am not sure how much meat is on one but some of the squirrels in Texas can get pretty big. We live out in the country and we have deer and all kinds of other animals around us but I would never shoot one.
Dove and quail hunting is big in Texas too and there sure isn't much meat on them.
